Alice was deep in thought when Damienne asked if she was okay, snapping out of it and looking to Damienne as she rested her hand on her shoulder. 'I'm fine' She beamed to Damienne, though she didnt feel fully alright. She knew Edward all too well and it wasnt the first time he had run away from them... She didnt want that to happen. Alice needed Edward right now, and she didnt want Damienne to lose him either. It was a strange situation, but Alice was confident they would get through it all somehow. 'I'm kinda used to it all now' That at least was true, especially with what had happened the day before...
Alice smiled to Damienne as she left and then to Edward, though for him her smile was saddened. 'Please... Dont leave Edward...' She whispered softly, she didnt want him to leave and she could only begin to imagine how it would mafe Damienne feel if he suddenly dissapeared from her life.

Jason nodded slowly 'Your not wrong there Dr Cullen, I am sure she will work some things out.' Damienne was a bright kid and he knew she would work out there was something odd going on. Then again she was pretty used to strange things happening in his family. Jason grinned as he saw Damienne, it was so typical of her... Making light of the situation. He couldnt hide the relief from his face though, to see that she was alright. Jason was willing to take a beating if it was for her sake. 'Sorry about the scare Frankie...' He was so greatful that Edward had found him and it hadnt been her, he knew she was being strong, as per usual.
'Dr Cullen has fixed up pretty good' He chuckled 'You okay though Frankie? Did Edward keep you... Distracted?' He smirked a little looking to Carlisle sharing their own parental teasing joke. It was going to be an odd partnership, but Jason was hoping it would work none the less.

Carlisle smirked. “I'm glad you can agreed,” he replied brightly. “But I hope she doesn't have to work it out. That seems unfair,” he offered, though he was more hoping it would be Edward that told her what there needed to be told. He smiled at Damienne when she appeared in the room, having offered to take the bloody clothes from her. She seemed quite attached to the shirt in her hand and could only hand over the other shirt when she refused to let that one go. “I'll leave you both to it,” he said, turning to Jason with a grin. “I think we'll go now,” he said, grabbing his case and turning to leave. “Edward, Alice,” he called to the other room, standing on the landing and waiting for the pair of them to appear. “I'll see you down at the car,” he said to the younger vampires. “I shall see you two later,” he said, smiling to Damienne and Jason before moving and going down the stairs, case in hand. He went outside, closing the door to as he walked out. He moved down to his car, throwing his case in the boot and getting into the driver's seat. He glanced up to the house again before pulling away, leaving for home.

Damienne tilted her head and watched Alice as she replied. She was 'fine' as well. She sighed softly, forcing a smile when Alice smiled at her. She felt like there was something she was completely missing, but she figured today wasn't the day to try and work that out. She kept her head tilted when Alice said she was 'kinda used to it'. That didn't seem fair to Damienne and she didn't even know what it was that Alice was meant to be 'used to'. Having gone into her father's room, she felt better for seeing him, albeit, not in perfect condition, though she was expecting that. She smiled at Carlisle when he offered to get rid of the clothes. “No, it's alright,” she said, just before he handed the other item over. “Thank you,” she said in a low tone as he moved passed her, smiling softly. “See you later, Dr. Cullen,” she said as he left the house. She turned her attention to her father with a soft smile, still fiddling with the shirts in her hands. “I should have known better, dad,” she replied when he apologised for the scare.
“You know you don't have to apologise for Tobias,” she said, a slight malice tainting her voice when she said her brother's name. “I see that,” she said with a smile when her father said Carlisle had fixed him up pretty good. She nodded when he asked if she was ok, then blushed when he asked if Edward had kept her distracted. “Dad,” she hissed quickly. That reminded her. Carlisle was leaving and was going to get Edward and Alice to leave too. “Back in a sec,” she said quickly to her dad when she heard Edward and Alice moving down the stairs to leave. “Edward, Alice,” she called, just as Carlisle had done, but for a different reason, following them down the stairs. “Did I mention thank you?” she said to Edward with a soft smile, realising she was still clutching the shirts in her hands, but even in realisation, she didn't let them go. She turned to Alice. “Will you be in school tomorrow?” she asked, assuming Alice was from their year. She hoped that Alice would be around. She felt at ease knowing another girl and being able to get on with her so well.
She moved to give the girl a goodbye hug, throwing the bloody shirts onto the stairs, so she could pick them up on the way back up to her father. She squeezed Alice gently. “It was nice meeting you,” she said as she stepped back from the girl. She smiled up at Edward. “I'll see you tomorrow?” she asked Edward, hoping that he wouldn't avoid her after this little adventure. She hoped that they'd be able to catch up on the work she had missed out on this evening another time, though bringing up another little meeting like that right now didn't seem right to her. She'd ask him tomorrow. She smiled again at the pair of them, smiling and waving as they left, watching the silver Volvo pull away, sighing. Things were going to be more interesting from now on, she could feel it. She turned, closing and looking the front door behind her before moving back to the stairs, picking up Edward's shirt, having abandoned her dad's before moving upstairs to see him again. She moved back into his room, shaking her head at him. “You're so embarrassing sometimes,” she commented, smirking.

Edward stood when Carlisle called them, he wanted to say goodbye to Damienne, but she needed the time with her dad.He moved with Alice down the stairs as he heard Damienne calling his name. He smiled as she came down, he noticed the shirts in her hands and he felt Alice tense slightly, it was still tough for her... 'There is no need for thanks Damienne... I just hope he gets better soon' He looked to Alice and saw her look to Carlisle who gave an approving nod. A smile spread across his lips as Alice enthusiastically told Damienne she would see her at school. It was so nice to see Alice smiling, though he had a feeling Jasper wouldnt be overly pleased.
He smirked and nodded 'Yes I am sure I will' He chuckled and waved before he headed out with Alice, turning around one last time 'Thanks for the shirt... Hope you enjoy my old one' He chuckled and exited the house to his car, it had certainly been an interesting study date, he hoped though that future ones would not be the same.

Jason thanked Carlisle again as he left before turning his attention to Damienne. He sighed slightly 'It doesnt stop me feeling bad about you having to go through all of this Frankie...' He chuckled as she blushed when he teased her about Edward. There was no denying that she had really fallen for Edward, it was a good thing she didnt know yet the drama this might cause... As she came back he chuckled 'Isnt that what dads are for Frankie?' It was good to see her so happy, he just hoped it would last.
