Computer Science had gone faster than Edward had ever remember it to. He and Damienne had spent the majority of the class talking to one another. The conversation was much lighter this time, and during some of it Edward helped Damienne to catch up on the work she was behind in. Not only that, but the duo managed to swap e-mail addresses and MSN information. He had suggested the swap, along with their phone numbers, telling her that it would be easier for her to get a hold of him that way, if she were to need any more help. The vampire was sure that the girl knew the real reason for his queries, but he didn't wish to come right out and ask. It just seemed far to coarse a thing for the young man to do.
While Damienne had stated that she wanted to be the one to walk him to English, it was obvious within moments that the darling thing had no idea where the class was. Among blushing cheeks and hooded eyes she offered that Edward could take the lead if he wish. With a smile and an overly dramatic bow Edward did just that, leading her to the next class, holding open the door for her before making his way to a back set of desks, waiting for her to site before he did.
So far there was no one else in the room, not even the instructor, but Edward was sure that would change soon, and the class would begin to fill. While he wanted time alone with Damienne, he didn't mind the large population in his classes, it kept the teacher's attention off of the pair as they chattered away. After she sat, Ed followed in kind, removing the books out of his bag as he always did, at least making it look as if he were paying attention.

Damienne felt like the day was certainly more pleasant with Edward's company added into the routine and she could definitely get used to it. She was overly flattered, fighting back a wave of blush spreading across her face as they traded contact information. It was the phone number swap that caught her most off guard. The only people's number's she had in her phone were family. She'd deleted all the La Push numbers she had besides that because they didn't speak to her anyway. She fought back the crimson colored blush, feeling her face cool down again eventually. She wasn't why she was so shocked about this. It was just an all too new experience and it didn't help Edward was as handsome as he was either.
She chewed on her lip, screwing up her nose slightly when she finally realized that she didn't actually know where she was going at the moment. "I'm sorry," she mumbled as she looked at the floor, following his lead now, feeling better for having someone around that knew where he was going. She smiled pleasantly at him as he held the door for her, as he had done for the other classes, brushing past him to enter the room, hesitating and waiting for Edward to move. Hopefully, there was a seat next to him. She had yet to go to this class. She had missed it the previous day, but he had said something about a vacant seat before. She was sure of it. She chewed her lip as she waited for a moment, before following close behind him.
She sat on his left this time, not that sitting at a different side of him mattered really. He looked good from any angle she imagined. She felt a light blush moving to her cheeks again as she sat down and pulled out her notebook for English. This was note free and doodle free, but she imagined that it would be covered within minutes as soon as she got out her pen. She chewed on her lip for a moment, looking to Edward. He seemed less distracted now, considering the main comparison was him in Biology. He was fixated by his phone then, but that seemed to have passed, which made her feel like she had to be somewhat more interesting, considering he wasn't paying attention to something else as well as her.

English... Zavier didn't really see the point in this lesson. At least it was a walk in he park for him, having lived for over three hundred years he was sure he had read any book they threw at him. Of course there was another reason he wasn't overly enjoying his English classes now a days. As he entered the class his eyes moved over to the back to see Edward with another of Forks High newest students... He was wondering why he didnt get such a warm, then again he knew why, he was sure Damienne was human, unlike him. He took in the rest of the room with his 'brown' eyes, having just changed his contacts again. The last lesson before lunch, he was hoping it would go soothly. Perhaps if he was lucky Edward would be more occupied with this girl than him, though he had a feeling Zavvy just being there would attract Edwards attention from her.
He moved through the class as the desks began to fill saying his to his fellow class mates. Zavier had found settling in with the humans around im so easy, of course his gift helped a little. His eyes met Edwards for a moment as he went to sit, flashing him a friendly smile, though he doubted it would be returned. So much had been happening in the past week, he had heard the rumours that there was something up at the Cullen house, a few of his new friends had been telling him about how two of the Cullens were missing from school that day. It was none of his business, however he was curious to say the least.
As he at he took out his books and placed them on the desk. Of course he was aware of Edwards special little gift... He had found out about that on his first day there, so he was carefuly not to be too obvious in his thoughts. He had already been out to Seattle to feed, he was feeling better for it. It was troublesome to have to go so far, but if thats what he had to do to keep the peace then he would do it. He was curious about Edward and this girl though, from what he had heard Edward was a picky bugger but he seemed very at ease with the girl. He planned to do a little eavesdropping, it would pass the class a little faster perhaps.

Damienne's eyes lifted away from Edward as another person entered the room. Something unsettled her slightly about the newcomer. She'd seen him in all of the other English lessons she'd been in, but, like most others, he'd not paid much attention to her either. Though, it wasn't that that unsettled her in his presence. She couldn't say what it was, it was just another one of those unexplained things. She watching him for a moment before looking back at Edward as the class filled up. “Do you always sit out of the way?” she questioned, wondering why he seemed so 'apart' from the other students. She knew the answer. She was more hoping he'd answer the sub-question as to why he sat out of the way of everyone else. She pulled a pen out of her bag before dropping the bag on the floor beneath her desk, out of the way.
She rolled her head on her neck before pulling her notebook towards her. 'Damienne F. Renton' she wrote across the cover of the book. She looked up again just in time to see Zavier, well, she believed he was called that, looking at Edward, flashing him a friendly smile. She should have known Edward would know him anyway. She adjusted herself in her seat and began writing 'English' in a neat pattern across her notebook under her name. She dropped her pen on her notebook and chewed on her lip as she waited for the class to start, brushing her hair back with her hands and pulling it all over her left shoulder, rubbing the now exposed skin on the right side of her neck. Her eyes flickered over her notebook again, her hand dropping from her neck to pick up her pen and draw further patterns over her notebook. She couldn't help it if she had a slightly over active imagination.

Bella was starting school today. Oh, boy this was gonna be so amazing, NOT! She was a little nervous but she'd handle it for sure. She had driven to school with her old rusty truck. Everyone had looked at her when she pulled into the school with her loud truck. She was nervous about today. She knew that everyone would wonder who she was and want to get to know her. Which was nerve wrecking in itself. Bella had parked her truck into a parking spot and looked around. Yup, everyone was still staring at her. Bella shrugged it off as she got out of her truck and grabbed her book bag. She smiled at some people that said hi to her even though she was listening to music on her ipod but it wasn't so loud that she couldn't hear anything or if anyone came up to her and talked to her. Bella closed her truck door and locked her truck up as she turned to face everyone. She started getting nervous as she walked more and more up to the school til she got to the entrance. She had got to the entrance doors and opened them as she walked into the big building they called school. Bella got to the main office as she got her schedule for the day well for the rest of her school year here. She looked around and didn't see anyone she knew. But then again she wouldn't know anyone, would she? It was like she was a whole brand new person. Even though she had lived here a long time ago but that was when she was a baby girl of course. How she wished Jacob went to school here. Then she wouldn't have to be so alone.
She looked down at her schedule to see what class she had next. Bella had English first, great! She smiled a little as she found her way to her class. Making her way through the crowded hallways and having everyone whisper her name behind her back. She didn't even have to introduce herself. She laughed a little to herself as she thought about it. By time she knew it she was already at her English class. She looked into the classroom. It was almost filled up. She quickly walked in and looked for a window seat. There was only one left. Bella quickly got that window seat and looked around. Nope, no one she had seen before. She sighed as she watched the teacher come into the classroom. How she wished that this day would end already. First days were always such drags. This first day was definitely a drag too. Bella got out her book and notebook. Making sure she was ready to take some major important notes. Where is Ms. Bella Swan....? The teacher had asked. Bella raised her hand slowly. "I'm Bella Swan." She replied back with a kind smile. The teacher had put that she was present. Thank god she didn't have to introduce herself. That was always annoying at a new school. Plus it wasn't something she liked to do at all. She just sat back in her chair as the teacher went on and on about terms she already knew. This was going to be a swell year, she could tell already.

Zavier watched as the new girl came in, he had heard about her through the grape vine... Isabella Swan, the chiefs daughter. Zavvy hadnt been in Forks long but with his gift he had managed to work his way into the gossip chain very fast. He was the guy everyone wanted to be friends with, or so thats what he had heard. He smiled warmly to her as she sat down 'Hi there' He knew she had moved here from Arizona, that was a pretty big change. Zavvy had heard a lot about her father, he was well respected in the town and did his job well. He wondered how she was settling in, the kids in this school seemed to make it hard for new kids to settle down, though she had the advantage that everyone knew her dad, so they were probably going to be on their best behaviour. He held out his hand to shake, it was his signature move with new people, its the only way his gift worked and it made it so much easier instilling trust and friendship quickly with those in Forks High, well for him anyway.
His eyes moved to the teacher as he entered the room and started to take note of who was in class. He looked around at the other kids reactions when he called out Miss Swans name, there was already some whispering going on. Some people were so annoying... So she called herself Bella, well that was useful to know at least. He looked down to his notebook and opened it up and started to doodle a little, he really hated these classes sometimes, but today was going to be slightly more interesting... He focused on the pair at the back, listening in to see what Edwards responce would be. It wasnt easy for vampires to settle down in human society, the Cullens approach seemed to be avoiding people and keeping to their selves. Zavvy liked talking to other people, getting to know them. Then again he had an advantage over Edward... Even if Edward had an advantage over him too...
He looked over to Bella and smiled again keeping his voice low 'So hows the new school experience going for you?'He knew she was probably a little intimidated by it all, that was all natural though. After all it was a completely alien place to her. 'It must be tough, moving from Arizona to here...' He said in an almost wistful voice. He knew what moving around a lot was like, but he had Bella pinned down for a girl who didnt travel all that much. He knew she hadnt been in Forks for a while, dispite her father living there. But to actually come to live instead of just visit... That must have been real hard.

Edward looked over to Damienne as she asked him if he always sat out of the way, he thought about her words for a moment before slowly nodding 'I'm not really the social type, I normally keep myself to myself...' His eyes darted over to Zavier and he supressed a growl, he didnt trust this new vampire, he wasnt like the Cullens for one, his eyes, though covered by brown contacts were red... He still killed people, no matter how righteous he thought he was. He knew he was going to keep a close eye on this boy, and he was going to talk to Carlisle about him too... The family needed to know there was another vampire in their territory. Especially one that seemed keen on staying, like him.
He also looked to the girl who moved to sit by him, he had heard about her around school, Bella Swan, the chiefs daughter. Of course he had known from Carlisle too, his father had a good professional relationship with Charlie and apparently he had been telling eveyone he met that his daughter was coming to live with him. He noticed that Zavier was already trying to suss her out, he tried concentrating on her thoughts, but he couldnt seem to pick them out. A frown spread across his features... Why couldnt he get her thoughts? Was there something wrong with him? Or his gift?
The thought of it being his gift sent a cold shiver down his spine. Alice was having problems with her gift, what if what was affecting her was affecting him too? Perhaps he would be able to learn more about this girl through Zavier... Though he wasnt all that fond on letting that leech get too close to the chiefs daughter. The last thing the Cullens needed was for the Chiefs daughter to be killed by a vampire. He shook the thought from his head and looked to Damienne, realising he had been staring in their direction perhaps a little too long. 'I go away for a few weeks and suddenly everythings changed...' He looked to her and smirked a little, though he was finding Damiennes company less unsettling than Zavier and Bellas...

Damienne continued to look around the class as a few more people entered the room, trying to keep her eyes off of Edward. 'I shoulda known English would be a really popular class...' she thought to herself. The class seemed more full than it had been in her first few weeks, a few new faces appearing in with the other faces she was kind of used to seeing now. She watched another brunette girl enter the room. She hadn't seen her before. She had to be the new girl that everyone was talking about. No one had bothered mumbling about her like they had done with this Isabella Swan. She had moved from Arizona and she was the chief's daughter. Everyone was obsessing about the girl. 'They'll probably be worse now they've seen her,' she thought quickly, considering how many guys had questioned whether she would be hot or not. She clearly was, so that was going to start sparking arguments. Damienne had seen it happen in La Push, so it would definitely happen here in Forks.
'Good luck,' she thought for Isabella, almost sarcastically. She glanced to Edward for a moment, smiling slightly. He was quiet when classes started and then was always sly about talking to her during the class. She glanced to the front as the teacher spoke and the new girl in the room responded. 'So that's definitely her then...' she thought as she watched the girl lowering her hand. She hadn't been asked where she was when she had arrived. She had been ushered off to her seat and told to catch up where she could. She watched as the guy she had learnt was called Zavier greeted Bella before quickly turning back to Edward. She wasn't that interested in that, was she? She was slightly annoyed by the fact that this Bella girl was getting a better reception than she was, but, then again, she was bound to get a better greeting than she was because she was only from La Push and, well, Bella's father was the chief of police for Forks, so people were bound to be on their best behaviour.
She nodded slowly as Edward finally gave her an answer. “I totally get that,” she mumbled before glancing away and out of the window for a moment. She sighed as she looked down into the school grounds. She tried her best to be social, but her attempts were usually ignored or taken the wrong way. She seemed good at putting on a whole social front whenever she was with Dorian in Seattle. She had to. The last thing she needed when she was there was everyone thinking she was some sort of pushover. Seattle was a great city, but you couldn't avoid the unfavourable characters some days. She glanced back at Edward to find him staring at Zavier and Bella now. So, she wasn't the only one interested in working them out. She smirked slightly at Edward's words. “I've been here since the start of the year and everything's changed in just one day, so I wouldn't worry about it,” she replied quickly and encouragingly. Things certainly had changed a lot for her in just one day.
