[/b] Larissa said to herself. She really didn't care if anyone would have heard her. What was she going to get? If the teacher would have heard her, the worse she'd get was detention. So not a big deal to her.
Larissa was ready for math class. Urgh, it was such a drag because it was her least favorite subject. English was her favorite but that was because of her parents. Now, she had to endure the painful boring symbols and numbers that didn't mean a thing to her in her life. Larissa had got to class in time before the bell rang. She sat near the window, her usual seat unless someone took it on her. Then she'd usually get pissed off but she calmed down when that sort of thing happened. What else could you really do? Hit the person because they sat where you usually sit? Math class didn't have a seating chart even though she wished the teacher would make one. She put her books down on her desk and opened up to the chapter they were on and pulled out her homework. She did dreadful in this class. It was a surprise she had managed to keep a B+ for so long. Of course she had someone help her study most of the time. That was her brother, Bobby. He was only fourteen but he knew math like the back of his hand. Larissa was glad that he could help but felt a little embarrassed for having her little brother help her with her class. But after all it was only one class.
She looked around the class and saw a few people here and there. She hadn't really tried to make friends with anyone. And she'd been living here since she was a child. Sometimes she really did think something was wrong with her. Larissa looked and saw that the new kid was sitting next to her. His name was Ashen. Well, he really wasn't that new anymore. So, he basically knew his classes probably. She looked at him and smiled. Her eyes then fell upon Zavier. He was just as gorgeous as Ashen. Boys, they were never something she could get or grasp. She'd seen many of her friends fall for guys and end up getting heartbroken. Larissa had always found no use for men whatsoever. But now she was all of a sudden interested in them. She blamed her hormones. Yeah, that was a great excuse for being attracted to two guys in her class. She sighed a little as her attention was back on the teacher. He was going on and on about things she could really cared less about.
Larissa still couldn't figure out what she wanted to be in the future. Like for her career and it totally bugged her a lot. Her parents were no help to her figuring it out either. She wrote down her notes that the teacher had written on the board. Larissa knew she was going to fail miserably on their next test. Boy, she hoped her brother was going to help her out if not she could take at least one bad grade. Even though she wouldn't hear the end of it with her parents. Which all they'd do was ground her. And on her terms, being grounded wasn't bad at all. Because her parents didn't know she sneaked out at random times at night. Larissa thought about her place she'd go to when it felt like the world was getting to heavy on her shoulders. It put her at ease while she listened to the teacher ramble on. No one was really paying attention either. They were all doing something else or talking with one another. "Jeesh, I could just fall asleep and he wouldn't even notice."
