------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "And I'd want you here with me, forever."
Bella woke up feeling like crap and she really didn't wanna get up honestly. So, she stayed in bed for a few more minutes til she knew she had to get up. Soon, she'd have to start school. Oh joy, NOT! She was dreading each day that came closer to the brand new high school. Bella got up off of her bed and put on some clothes. An outfit that was her style and fitted her right. Bella had her outfit on in a flash. She smiled as she looked into her mirror. She wasn't one to really care but she looked alright today. Bella didn't hear her father downstairs so she went downstairs and looked around. Charlie wasn't there and she thought about what she was gonna eat. She was starving. Her father wasn't exactly the greatest cooks in the world. She knew she was gonna have to start cooking meals and doing things around the house because her father only worked and watched sports. Charlie and her really didn't talk all that much but they at least said hi to one another. She really needed to get to know him. A sigh escaped her mouth as she thought about just taking her beat up truck and driving it to the nearest cafe. That sounded good. She got her keys to her truck and the house. Grabbed some money and then she walked out of the door.
Bella walked to her truck as she jumped in and started her engine. It sounded rough but the truck had been through a lot after all. She laughed a bit and then she started driving towards town where the cafe was located. She turned on her radio and turned it to the rock station. You could always find her listening to music. It was one of her favorite ways to spend her spare time. She had got into town in no time. Bella looked around the cafe to see how many people were there. Maybe her father was eating breakfast in the cafe. She looked for his police car that he always drove. Nope, he wasn't eating here. She found a parking space and parked her truck in that spot as she hopped out of her truck. Bella closed the driver door and locked her truck up. Then she started walking to the entrance of the cafe. Her mouth was watering for some awesome pancakes.

Ashen had gotten up really early for his first pre school shift at the Cafe, he had managed to convince them they needed an extra hand in the mornings. He certainly needed the money to pay his rent and it also meant free breakfast... Always a bonus. Not that he had seen working breakfast shift really his thing, but shift would be over soon, it would give him just enough time to rush home, get dressed and get to school before the bell rang. It was tiring but worth it. His dad had tried ringing him again the night before, he really needed to take a hint and not bother him... He was managing to survive perfectly well without his family, why couldnt he see that Ashen needed this break away from his family and past? Ashen stared into space as he stood at the counter, damn he was tired. He sifled a yawn and sighed as he took a sip of the coffee he had poured himself. He was greatful they didnt mind him having the odd coffee, it was the only thing keeping him awake at the moment.
Ashen looked up as he heard the door open and had to blink a little, he hadnt seen the girl before, he was sure he had seen all the regulars at the cafe. One of the waitresses leaned over and whispered in his ear... So she was Chief Swans daughter... He had met Charlie a few days before, he was a regular there and a social pillar in the small society. 'Morning...' He chirped in his LA accent, which stuck out like a sore thumb out in Forks 'What can I get you Miss Swan?' He smilied shyly as he wiped his hands on a cloth and got his order pad out to take her morning order.

Bella had walked into the cafe looking around to make sure there wasn't too many people. She sighed with relief that there wasn't too many people. Her father wasn't here either which was a good thing. She really just wanted to be alone for right now. She sat down at a open table and one of the the waiters came up to her in what seemed pretty damn quick but then again it wasn't so busy. So, she just glanced up at the guy. He would be the first person that she had met so far in forks. This guy seemed really nice and cute actually. But that was something she'd keep to herself. She smiled as she answered him. "Good morning. How do you know who I am? Never mind, I'm sure everyone knows who I am now thanks to my father. But I'd like some orange juice and pancakes. Thanks." She replied as she looked down a bit. Bella took out her ipod and put it onto the table. Yeah, she was going to listen to some music while eat. She wasn't expecting anyone to talk to her or come up to her. Hopefully, that wouldn't happen. She didn't know why she expected him not to know her. Everyone probably did. Just great! Wonderful. That's what she got from being the chiefs daughter.
Bella smiled as more people came in when they stared at her. It made her somewhat uncomfortable but what was she expecting? At least people weren't like HEYY that's Bella Swan!! Then she'd be more uncomfortable and probably would have left right there and then. She watched what the waiter wrote down. "Is it always this dead?" She asked him. She read his name tag. It said Ashen. What a different name. She hadn't ever heard of a name that was that unique.

Ashen smiled and nodded noting down her order, not that he wouldnt remember it but he liked making sure. 'Yeah, your fathers a regular in here and I've seen him a couple of times...' She was pretty that was for sure, natural, unlike the girls he was used to in LA. Though like him she seemed to stick out in the crowd... They werent Forks folk and that was obvious. 'So where you travelled in from?' He asked conversationally as he passed the order to one of the other girls and he set her table. It was kinda nice not being the only new person in town, he was starting to get a complex that everyone knew who he was... Though he also felt sorry for her, being a new face in town, but also being known by everyone because she was the chiefs daughter. Now that had gotta be tough, she had been the talk of the town for the last few days, poor thing...
Ashen grabbed her Orange from behind the bar and brought it over to her nodding as she asked if it was always this dead 'Yeah, the towns really small, you get the regulars though... Rarely see anyone new, it is a welcomed change.' He smiled that shy smile of his. It was certainly nice to have someone in the cafe around his age, someone who was new and understood what it was like to be stared at by the whole of town. 'So your at Forks High I take it?' He was going to be glad when he could pop home and head to school, though he didnt have a car he enjoyed the walk... Even though the weather was terrible, he survived somehow. School here in Forks was so different to school in LA, for one thing the kids didnt stare at him like he was some sort of freak show. He felt more at home here than he ever did in LA... Much to his fathers annoyance. When they were ready Ashen brought over her pancakes 'Anything else I can get you miss Swan?' He asked, smiling gently.

Bella watched him write down her order. He had amazing blue eyes. She could see herself getting lost in them. She listened to him talk about her father. Of course everyone had met and seen him. "I know he is. He used to bring me here all the time when I was younger. How am I not surprised by that? Everyone around here has at least met him once."
Bella replied back with a wink. He continued to ask her questions which seemed oddly weird for a waiter. But hey she just went along with it. "Arizona, Actually. This raining weather is definitely something I'll have to get used to. How about you? You don't seem like you grew up here?" Bella had grew up here in Forks, so she mostly knew everyone. He did look around her age too. Everyone had been like hey new girl. It was like she'd rather have them announce it to the whole damn universe while they were at it. Bella laughed to herself at the thought of that actually happening. It was a funny thought really. She watched him as he set her table. Bella waited for her order to come, she wasn't too hungry but she could most certainly eat. She looked at his name tag. And thought his name was pretty and different. "Thank you, Ashen. That's a very unique and pretty name." Bella said as she grabbed the orange juice from his hand. Their fingers slightly touched. "Yeah, true. Well, I'm not exactly new. I did grow up here. So, just think of it as me moving back." She seemed somewhat stupid for saying that. Bella looked down at her table and then back up at his eyes. "Yes, I go there. I'm guessing you do too or are you one of those older guys that look like my age?" Bella replied laughing. She took a sip of her orange juice. Ashen had her pancakes ready to go in no time. He had put the plate down on the table. "No, thank you though. But hey, do you have a ride to school? I could give you one even if you have to go home to change or something? It looks like it's about to down pour. Wouldn't want you to get sick." She said as she cut her pancakes up into little squares and poured some syrup on them. She took a few bites as she waited for his answer. She really didn't like driving alone. [/blockquote]
