Fae'Lee waited listening to the sounds of the forest, she had heard her mother screaming and she trembled alone and scared. She didnt know how long it had been since it had all gone quiet... Her mother had told her to stay put no matter what. It was perhaps an hour until she stepped out. She was very scared, she just wanted to find her mum. She was used to hearing her mother screaming, but she didnt know what had happened this time... What if her daddy had caught up with them and taken her away? Fae'Lee felt a tear run down her cheek as she headed over in the direction from which she head the screams.
She wandered for at least twenty minutes before she stopped and trembled slightly. Ahead was a small clearing in the trees ahead and she could just make out her mothers backpack hung on a branch. She timidly stepped forward the tears welling in her eyes. As she got closer she noticed something on the forest floor, she swallowed back a cry as she recognised her mothers coat. She was lying with her back to her not moving. Fae ran forward to her, scared that she was in pain.
As she got to her mother she pulled at her to lie her on her back, as she was turned Fae'Lee screamed. Her mothers eyes were open, cold and still, her face and body broken and bloody from being beaten. The tears poured freely as she cried and pleaded 'Mummy! Mummy! Please... Please wake up... Mummy dont leave me alone!' She repeated the words over and over and over, she didnt care if her daddy found her now... Her mummy was gone, he had finally broken her, Fae'Lee had no one in the world but herself.
She looked at her mother, her beautiful young mother, she hated her daddy for what he did to them. She always dreamed of the day her mummy and her would get away to a paradise made for just them, where no one would hurt them anymore. She continued to cry 'Mummy... I'm sorry... Mummy I couldnt protect you...' She buried her face in her clothes, trying to ignore the smell of her blood, just trying to remember her smell... She was all alone now and she was dead scared.

Since everything had begun, Carlisle hadn't managed to find the time to hunt. Between things with Alice, Edward, Angel and the girl Amanda, life had been hectic. Not only that but there had been a strange and horrific death in Forks, the body ending up in his hospital's morgue. Hearing the rumors of what had befallen the poor human, Carlisle had gone to discover it on his own. What was left of the young man was torn to shreds, and his body was completely drained of blood. The word in the wards were that it had been a cult killing. The theory that some strange folks came in from the big city and made some sort of sacrifice to whatever demon they believed in. Police Chief Swan assured the town that the killer(s) would be found, and everything would be set to rights. Carlisle knew that no matter what, the chief would never find the real killer.
Finally finding the time to grab a quick bite Carlisle headed into the woods, easily locating a decent sized buck. The struggle was quick, and the death painless. He silently thanked the animal for its sustenance as he fed. Soon, Carlisle was full and felt recharged as he headed back toward town. An ear-shattering scream broke through the woods echoing under the canopy as it headed toward Carlisle's receptive ear drums. From the pitch of the shriek, it was a female child who was frightened beyond belief. Other thoughts pushed aside Carlisle picked up his pace and raced through the woods, using scent and sound to find the sobbing child.
Breaking into the clearing Carlisle saw the girl, curled against the body of a woman. From what the girl was saying through her tears, the woman was her mother. The woman was also very obviously dead. While Carlisle had long ago fended off the blood lust that so over came others, the smell of human blood was still pungent to him, and with so much spilled all over the forest floor and the body the scent radiated out, almost over coming the vampire. He hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to deal with the situation before him. It was obvious this woman wasn't murdered by another vampire, there would not have been so much blood left all over, but the police would tie this murder to the other, and Carlisle wasn't sure if that were a good or a bad thing. Charlie Swan was a good cop, and he was sure that they'd be able to find the people that killed this woman, but would it be fair for the killer to be blamed with the other murder?
Those thoughts distracted him, but only briefly. The first thing that Carlisle needed to do was to free the girl from her mother's bloody body. To get her away from the corpse. Then he would call Charlie Swan and notify him of the situation. He crossed the leaf covered ground to kneel by the child. As he did so, a ray of light broke through the tree-tops causing his skin to sparkle. “Shh.” He said, making a sound of comfort as he reached out to touch her shoulder. [/blockquote]

Fae'Lee was so besotten by grief that she hadnt noticed she was no longer alone. She felt Someone next to her and she gasped turning to see the most beautiful man she had ever seen kneeling beside her. Her eyes were wide with shock, her mouth hung open as she watched his skin glistening in the sunlight. She blinked away her tears trembling gently with shock at the sight of the man before her. Part of her wanted to scream, but part of her was telling her that he was there to help.
She left out a sob and turned away from him looking back to her mommy, she felt so helpless and she wondered if the man was there to take her mommy somewhere safe. 'You gonna take my mommy to heaven?' She had only ever seen something as beautiful as the man before her in pictures, an angel... Her voice cracked with the tears as she sobbed. Her small hands held tightly onto her mothers clothing.
She flinched away from his touch and winced slightly, she didnt like men touching her... It was just like her daddy, they always hurt her. It had been a while since her father had beaten her, but serveral bruises and old injuries remained sore. Her daddy never let her or her mom go to the hospital... He said they didnt know what they were doing anyway. Her fingers gripped so tightly onto her mothers clothing she could feel the material starting to tear.
She looked back up to Carlisle, her mothers blood had smeared on her face and clothes. She didnt know why she could see this Angel... He was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. She found herself staring at him. 'Daddy wont hurt her there right?' More tears fell as she waited for the beautiful Angel to respond, she hoped her mother wouldnt be in any more pain.

The sweet voice of the child before him broke through the sobs and asked a question similar to many that he had heard over his existence. The girl had obviously mistaken him for an Angel, and she would not be the first, nor, did he suspect, would she be the last. As much as he knew that the young girl needed comfort, nothing ever good came from lying to a child. “I am sure that your mother has found her rest.” Carlisle assured, his vision focusing on the tiny fingers that grasped what was left of her mother's clothes.
As she flinched, he recoiled as well, not wanting to cause her any more discomfort than she was already in. His curiosity was piqued by her reaction t o his touch, and his brow furrowed. He had seen cases where children had done similar things. Children who were covered in bruises or who came into the hospital with broken bones. Children whose childhood was robbed from them by men who were more similar to monsters than anyone in the Cullen family. Holding back the urge to snarl, Carlisle rested back on his heels, holding his arms open to the girl. He wouldn't make a move to grab her, but leave an opening where she could make the choice to come to him.
The next words that came from her small lips confirmed his fear. Holding his face in a friendly, welcoming manner was difficult as anger flowed through him. No child deserved to have to live through this. “Your father will not ever hurt either of you again.” He said, more making a vow than just speaking. He knew from that instant that he would never let harm come to that small girl. She had been through too much.
“Come here.” He cooed, “Let's get you cleaned up.” His arms were still open to her, he sat there hoping that she would come to him. All he wanted at that moment was to wipe the tears from her eyes and help her to feel the littlest bit better.

Fae'Lee looked at her mothers bloodied face unable to stop her tears, though the mans words calmed her slightly. She had only ever known the life of abuse that her father had inflicted upon them, she had never known anyone but her mothers kindness, all men were the same, at least in her experience they were. She knew as she looked back to Carlisle that this was no man, he was so beautiful and he looked just as she had pictured an angel to be. His perfect pale face, the skin that shone in the light and she soft gentle voice. The only other men she knew were crude and violent.
She watched him open his arms and looked from her mom to him, then back again. She had never been without her and she didnt know what to do. Hearing him say her father would never hurt them again she looked back to him. 'Will I get to see my Mommy again?' She didnt know why, but she had a feeling the answer would be no. She didnt know why this Angel had come for her, but she felt as if she could trust him... Despite the fact he was a man.
Fae'Lee sobbed as she let go of her mothers clothes and huggled into Carlisles arms. They werent as warm as she had expected but it didnt bother her. She buried her face in his chest sobbing gently, she was tired and cold. Her whole life had been shattered and she didnt know what was going to happen now. Deep down though she knew the Angel would keep her safe, for the first time in her life, she was suddenly not afraid.
She took a deep breath and noticed that the Angel smelt nice, sweet like candy and she smiled slightly. She had always dreamed and Angel would save her, though now she knew it was too late for her mommy, she hoped she was at peace in the sky.

The next question that the child asked was a difficult one for him to answer. He did not wish to tell tales to the girl and give her false hope, yet at the same time he didn't wish to frighten her anymore than she was already. The truth won out as was often the case with Carlisle, “Not like this.” He said, frowning some what, hating that this would be the last image the girl held of her mother. “Not again in this life.” He wanted to say something more, something that would comfort her. He views on the afterlife were more than what one would call, skewed. Death was just such a foreign thing to him.
Before he could come up with some sort of platitude, the child came to him, burrowing into his body. His arms wrapped softly around the small, shaking form and he whispered comforting words into her bloodied hair. Standing he shifted her weight from both of his arms to just one, giving him enough maneuverability to reach into his pocket. Fingers clasped around fabric he withdrew a stark white handkerchief, the initials c.r.c. embroidered into the top corner. Softly, so as not to hurt or frighten the child he began to wipe away what of the blood and tears he could. Once he was somewhat satisfied with how he had cleaned her, Carlisle traded the handkerchief for his cell phone and quickly dialed Chief Swan's personal number.
A quick conversation followed, Carlisle telling Charlie what he had found and where, giving only brief descriptions but getting his message across. Charlie sounded startled, but Carlisle could tell that what he had feared was happening, the small town police officer was already tying the two murders together. Returning his cell phone to his pocket Carlisle once again wrapped both of his arms around the child. “The police are going to be here soon.” He explained, wanting to keep her up to date with everything as it occurred, leaving her no room to be startled. “They are going to,” He paused, completely unsure of what to say. “do what they can.” He finished weakly, unimpressed with the complete lack of statement that he had made. “I am sure they will want to know your name.” He cooed, as his hand rubbed small circles on her lower back. “Would you mind telling me what it is?” He asked, hoping that she would be willing to share the information.

Fae had expected this answer, she took one last look at her mother and leaned over her hugging her cold body tightly as she whispered a prayer for her fallen mother.
God our Father, Your power brings us to birth, Your providence guides our lives, and by Your command we return to dust...
Her voice trailed off as she sobbed unable to finish, her mother had taken her to church when she could, she had learned so many prayers hoping that maybe one day God would hear them and help them. As she leaned up and kissed her mothers face she whispered her last good bye 'Goodbye Mommy...'
Resting in his arms she felt calm and safe. He was being so gentle with her and she had never had such care from a man before. She managed a small smile for him as he wiped her face gently, she sighed gently and closed her eyes, he was so gentle, like her mommy was. She didnt listen to the conversation Carlisle was having, it was rude to listen and she blocked things out quite easily if she wanted too. Like screams, or shouting...
As soon as Carlisle mentioned the police her eyes opened wide and her body went rigid. Her breathing quickened and she shook slightly in his arms. Her mother always used to threaten going to the police, but she never would dare. Her father just beat her all the harder, he had made sure that Fae was petrified of the police, or doctors for that matter. Fae was too young to understand this was to protect himself rather than her, but her fear was evident now.
'No... Daddy said he would kill me... No!' She sobbed and wriggled in his arms trying to get free, her heart was pounding and she was petrified. Carlisles arms were far too strong for her, she was tired and distraught. Her sobbing and gasping increased as she struggled, she wanted to get away, the police couldnt find her. She was starting to have a full blown panic attack. After a moment of struggling she gave up curling up into a ball in his arms hyperventilating.
She was scared, confused and tired. She heard Carlisles last question, she didnt know whether to answer. She remembered her mommy telling her how she should always be a good girl and do what she was told and answer peoples questions. So between gasps for air she mananged a reply 'Fae *gasp* Fae'Lee' She shivered slightly and buried her face in his sweet smelling clothes again, she wanted to just curl up and for everything to dissapear.

When Carlisle told the girl of Charlie's expected arrival, he was shocked as he body automatically tensed. He could hear her heart as it raced, and feel as she took deeper, quicker breaths. Her form shook within his grasp, indicating the fear that she felt. Yet again, sorry poured from Carlisle. What had this child been through to react this way. Automatically he cooed and ran his hand over her hair, rocking her in a comforting manner. The words she sobbed made disgust for the human being the helped to create the girl well in his being. No man like that should deserve to live, or to have such precious gifts bestowed upon them.
“Don't worry.” He said, still rocking the child. “Your father will not harm you, now or ever again.” Once again he meant it. No matter what Carlisle had to do, he would not let anything of bad fortune occur to this girl. Her respiratory rate increased, concerning Carlisle. He was not looking forward to what would happen when Charlie and his deputies arrived in their cruisers with flashing lights and screaming sirens. “Shh.” He whispered into her hair, walking in a small circle slowly. “Nothing bad will happen. They're just going to help.”
A smile broke across his face as she managed to answer through her own discomfort. “That's a beautiful name.” He replied. “So tell me, Fae'Lee', how old are you?” He hope to distract the child, while at the same time gaining more information that he could share with Charlie when the time came.

Carlisle's calming words to her helped her clam, but her heart beat was still quickened, she knew the police were coming and no amount of cooing would help calm her completely. She bit down on her lip and nervously chewed it, the Angel was promising her safety, but there was still the lingering fear... What if the Angel was wrong? What if her daddy did find her and the Angel couldnt stop him? She shuddered lightly in his arms again as she started humming a tune to herself, it was a tune her mommy used to sing for her. She didnt know the words, but the tune would stay with her, even though her mommy was gone.
She looked up and smiled to Carlisle as he said her name was beautiful, her breathing was slowing a little and she was no longer gasping for air, her breath no longer escaped her. 'S-S-Six...' She paused for a moment taking a breath of sweetly scented air 'But t-t-tomorrow I'll be s-s-seven.' Her voice was still shakey, she had been looking forward to her first birthday away from her father. She had imagined that they would have cake and play games... It had been a lot to wish for, and now it really wasnt going to happen. She sighed shakily and wiped away tears from her face, it would be her first birthday away from her mommy.
Fae'Lee stiffened again as she heard sirens somewhere in the distance. Her small fingers grasped at Carlisle's clothing desperately, she didnt want to be taken away, not by the police. She buried her face into his cold hard chest, trying so hard to stay calm. So many years of conditioning werent going to be brushed aside in a matter of minutes however and her heart began to race again.

Carlisle's arms wrapped around the small child as she cuddled into his body. He held her carefully but tightly, one hand still rubbing the slow circles on her back. As she began to hum a tune that was unknown to him, but obviously dear to her, his feet changed the rate of their footfalls, and he walked his circle to the melody that he could pick up. It was a good sign that the child was attempting to calm herself, to use something that had worked before. The doctor's face relaxed and a his smile turned bright. “Tomorrow is your birthday?!” He exclaimed. “That's wonderful, Fae.” Carlisle had stopped walking as he spoke, and his golden eyes searched for the child's own. “We will have to do something special.” Anything was better than this, the vampire thought to himself. Besides, he was sure that the girls would have fun planning something for Fae. Birthday celebrations had stopped being a part of all of their lives long ago. Eventually it had just become pointless to count the years.
The sound of sirens cut through the would-be silence of the woods, causing the girl to be frightened once more. Protectively Carlisle held the child, slowly swaying with her as he did to many young children who needed a bit of comfort at the hospital. As soon as Charlie's cruiser, the forensics van and the ambulance arrived, Carlisle shouted over the noise to the police Chief. “Cut the noise and the light's Charlie.” e instructed. They had known each other for several years, and while they weren't close, there was a bond of mutual respect between the two. The need for proper titles had died between the two more than a year ago. Charlie took notice of the bundle in Carlisle's arms, and nodded, relaying the message to the other people that were with him. Soon the woods were almost quiet again, the only sound were the hushed voices of the rest of Charlie's crew as they began their job.
A paramedic approached the trio, a young man that Carlisle had met many times, but whose name slipped his tongue at the moment. “Would you like me to take her, sir?” He asked, gesturing at the girl. “Does she need any medical attention?” Carlisle shook his head, not forgetting Fae's own reaction to him, and not wanting to deposit her in the arms of a stranger, just yet. “That's alright Alex.” He said, remembering the young man's name at last. “I've already looked her over and she's fine.” His vision took in the corpse not too far away, “As fine as she can be.” He amended. Alex nodded and went over to the quickly-being-taped-off-area. “Thanks for callin, Carlisle.” Charlie said, speaking to the doctor at last. “Where'd you find her?” The Police chief asked, nodding toward the child curled in Carlisle's arms. “Here.” Carlisle said, not wanting to say a whole lot in front of Fae. The day had been traumatic enough for her, and she didn't need any details being rehashed in hearing distance of her small ears. “Perhaps we can talk about this later?” Carlisle asked, his eyes turning to the girl curled around him and his eyebrows raising. “Oh, yeah.” Charlie replied, “Yeah. Let me call the station and get someone from DSS down here. They can clean her up and find her a place to stay.” He said, nodding again, but this time to himself, deciding that he had made the right decision.
Carlisle's grip on the girl tightened ever so slightly. For some reason, he didn't think that DSS was the right place for the girl. Especially with her birthday coming up tomorrow. A strong instinct welled inside him not to let her go, not to let her be put in some system.

Fae smiled timidly when Carlisle exclaimed about her birthday. She looked up into his eyes, that rich golden colour was so amazing. She felt like she could get lost in them, that she could simply sit there and stare into his eyes for ever. But a blush spread across her cheeks and she looked away again, embarassed and shy. Also she knew it was rude to stare, so she didn't. Though her small smile remained as he said they would do something special 'Can we have a cake?' She had never had a birthday cake before, she had never done anything special for her birthday and she was excited at the thought... Maybe she could wear a pretty dress too, she had always wanted to do that.
Fae'Lee was frightened by all the noise and it was clearly distressing her, her fingers held on so tightly to his clothing and her face was buried from view to others. Her breathing quickened thinking 'what I cant see cant hurt me.' Though she knew this was all a lie, she had tried that on her daddy and he still hurt her. She was glad when the sirens were cut out and she ventured a peek, seeing all the people there her small form began to quake slightly, but the Angel was being so soothing and kind to her, she knew he wouldnt let any of them harm her. Her fingers loosened slightly, but she didnt let go.
Fae remained as still as she could in the Angels arms she didnt pay much attention to what people were saying around her, she was feeling tired and she was feeling strange. She was starting to feel a little disconnected, though she heard when the police officer mentioned taking her away. Her fingers immediately latched onto the Angels clothing again and she screamed NOOOOOOOOO! She buried her face into the Angels chest as tears started flooding again from her eyes screaming and sobbing as she held onto him for dear life 'DON'T LET THEM TAKE ME!!!!! She was scared, if they took her away from the Angel her daddy would find her, he would hunt her down and kill her, just like mommy.

When the child in his arms asked for a cake, Carlisle knew that he would never be able to say no to her. The look on her face, the eyes as they gazed up at him, the small voice, everything about her was adorable. “Of course we will have a cake.” He replied, thinking that Esme would probably know how to make one. If not, surely they would be able to find something somewhere. Carlisle's mind's eye envisioned all the children's parties that he had seen over the years. From the lavish ones centuries ago, to the nauseatingly colorful and loud ones of today. He knew of no other children, poor Fae would have to have this party with adults only.
As soon as he felt discomfort at the though, he felt discomfort elsewhere also. Fae flinched and then clung on for dear life, her fingers digging into his clothing as she tried to burrow even more into him. The child in his arms began to scream and wail, tears streaming down her face as she worked her way through wracking sobs. The sudden change from quasi desperation to shear terror confused him, and it was evident in his face. Charlie was so surprised that he took a full step back, his eyes wide as he looked at the girl. Carlisle went into caring mode immediately, wrapping his arms around her in a protective manner, pressing his lips into her hair as he cooed to her. “Shh.” He whispered, “Not to worry, I'm not going to let them take you anywhere.”
Charlie looked to the doctor then, his eyes concerned, “Now Carlisle, you can't just take her with you. She's gotta be processed by the city. What if her father's looking for her?” The police chief was going to continue, but the doctor silenced him with a glare. “I think that the best thing for her mental state would be to come with me.” Carlisle said, his voice moving from one of mutual respect to another that was more of an alpha male. The voice that he employed at the hospital when people weren't doing what they were supposed to, the voice that he used to get what he wanted. “We can deal with the needed paperwork together later.” He was still swaying, trying to calm the wreck of a thing in his arms. “As for her father, I am sure you will find him eventually, but this girl will never go near him again.”
The last part of his statement was said with a tone that was not to be brooked. No matter what, Fae would never have to see that man again. If Carlisle were ever to have to see him, it was likely that he would kill the human. Fae wasn't improving at all, and Charlie seemed to be stuck in his mind, the look on his face that of a fish gasping for air. “I am going to take her back to the house, Charlie.” Carlisle said as he turned from the police officer and began to walk through the woods, luckily the Mercedes was nearby. “I'll call you later.”
The sound of quiet sputtering could be heard as Carlisle walked away, the leaves crunching under his feet and the grizzly scene behind him fading into their past. Their, both of them, together. He hoped that the rest of the Cullens would be able to accept Fae, because something within the doctor told him that he'd never be able to let her go. “Ready to go home?” He asked with a smile as they broke into a small graveled clearing where the black car sat shining in the afternoon light.

The shy smile remained on her lips as Carlisle said they could have a cake. She really liked the idea of a party and a cake... She didn't overly mind about anything else, as long as she got a cake and got to wear a pretty dress then she was happy. Well maybe she wouldnt mind getting a present or two, she knew she wasnt going to get a secret one from her mommy this year though. She swallowed a small sob not wanting to show the upset she was feeling.
Fae's screaming only grew louder at the mention of her father. 'DONT LET DADDY FIND ME!!! YOU PROMISED!!!' Her fingers held tightly onto his clothing as she gasped for air between her screams, her tears forced from her eyes and streaming down her cheeks. The people around stole glances at the screaming girl as they worked. She took some comfort in the the Angels reassuring words but her delicate form still trembled in his arms, she didnt want to be taken away from him. House? Did Angels live in houses? She imagined if they did they were really nice houses, not like the small dark, damp flat she was used to.
Her screaming died down as Carlisle started to walk away from the policeman, away from where she knew her mother was. Her breathing steadied as she looked up to him, tears still streaming from her eyes. There was something so captivating about him, his stone smooth skin, those golden eyes, the sweet smell that lingered on his clothes. She sighed slightly wiping her eyes and the shy smile returned as he asked her if she was ready. 'Home?' she knew he didnt mean the old home, she knew the Angel whouldnt take her there... Was she really going home to live with the Angel? She hoped in her heart it was true and not some dream.

Carlisle smiled softly at Fae in his arms. He was glad she was finally settling down and seemed both captivated and completely entertained by the idea of a party and a cake. Little girls were so easy to please at times. He had witnessed this over different generations. No matter the time or era, the simplest things would raise the spirits of any disheartened little girl. The same could be said for little boys sometimes too, but they didn't seem to like things that were as nice. It was just the way the different genders' genetic structures worked. Genders and entertainment levels aside, Fae had calmed down, at least for not and at least a little and that was enough for him. He could cope with her better when she was calm. Then everything kicked off at the mention of her father. “Fae, Fae, come on, I won't let him. You know I won't,” he said softly, holding her close. “I'm not going to break my promise,” he added with a gentle, comforting smile.
“I'll never break a promise to you,” he added. He would remember it for the rest of eternity if he did and he didn't think he could live with that. He couldn't live with himself a lot of the time, so he couldn't add more broken promises and lies into the mix. “Calm down for me, please?” he instructed, though posing it as more of a suggestion of sorts as opposed to a strict instruction. He couldn't force her to calm down. Well, he could, but he didn't want to. He ran his forefinger across one of her cheeks, then across the other, brushing her tears away. He glanced around at the people who were beginning to stare. They could stare all they liked. Fae obviously needed to get this out of her system and he wasn't going to stand in the way of that or make excuses about it. Walking away from Charlie, not waiting for any more protests about the matter of him taking Fae to his own home as opposed to down the station to fill out a bunch of quite pointless papers.
He ran his forefinger over her cheeks again, brushing away yet more tears. “There's no need for those, are there?” he said softly. He nodded slowly when she questioned 'home'. “Yes, home,” he responded simply with a soft, encouraging smile as he reached the car. “I can hardly let you stay here now, can I?” he questioned, trying not to sound like he was undermining her. “And Chief Swan would only give you to someone else to look after you,” he added, searching her face. “But I'd wager that you'd be better off with me,” he finished quickly, with another smile. He freed a hand and reached in his pocket for his keys, unlocking the car. “You can have a nap on the way if you like,” he offered, trying desperately to distract her from everything she had just witnessed. Sleep should calm her down some, though it may disorientate her later, but, by then, he would be better prepared. He opened the back door to the car, standing beside it, letting her decide. “You ready then?” he asked.

The years of abuse from her father had left scars so deep that Fae just paniced at the thought of him looking for her... He had already killed her mother, she didnt want him to come for her too. She trembled lightly in his arms, she was cold from the winter weather and hungry too. She trusted the Angel, she didnt know why but she found comfort in his presence. Perhaps its because she believed that it was finally her time to be saved... 'You won't let them take me away? I dont want to go with them' She whispered softly, running her fingers over the fabric of his coat. She couldnt help but feel safe if he said he was going to protect her.
Her sobbing died down as he wiped away her tears and started walking away from the man who wanted to take her away. She nodded slowly as Carlisle told her to calm down, she was starting to feel sick from all her sobbing and her tears were running dry 'Where do Angels live?' She asked curiously, she had always thought they lived in the clouds, but she doubted she was going there. She looked to the car, she was suprised to see something so... human. Her eyes were wide eyed as she whispered 'Wow...' She looked up to Carlisle 'Are we going in that?' She had never been so close to such an expensive car... She nodded slowly as he said she could have a nap, she was so tired, she really just wanted to sleep.
