When Rosalie had spoken to Alice about going out to find Fae'Lee a dress for her birthday she jumped at the chance. She had reassured Jasper, Carlisle and Edward she would be fine with Rosalie and Fae. After all Carlisle was making sure her blood levels were high, especially with Fae around. She had been feeling down ever since Carlisle and Jasper had forced the human blood on her, her eyes had gone from being a bright gold to a deep orange. She tried to not let it upset her, but Jasper knew all too well she was saddened and worried by it. Shopping was just what she needed right now, some real girly shopping...
Alice had been shocked by the sudden arrival of Fae into the household, though she certainly wasn't the only one. She had been shocked when she had been called an Angel and couldnt help but giggle when the sweet little girl had asked her if she was the Alice from Alice in Wonderland. She had taken an instant liking to Fae, she brought some light heartedness to the tense household. Alice couldn't say no to her, she wanted to help her find the perfect dress. When it came to finding the perfect pink Princess Dress Alice was certainly the one to bet on... In more wys than one.
After saying goodbye to Jasper and reasurring him for the 100th time she would be fine she bounced down into the garage and brought the car round to the front, she would let Rosalie sit in the back with Fae, they had quite the bond forming and Alice was looking forward to doing a bit of driving. She tooted the horn and looked up to the window, Edward was watching from a distance *I'll be fine* she thought, she needed a bit of normality in her life. She smiled widely to Rosalie and Fae as they came out of the house. 'Ready to find that perfect dress?' She beamed as she saw fae nod her head. 'I know the perfect shop in Port Angeles...' She looked to Rosalie and grinned 'Emmett not keen on a girly shop then?' She winked and giggled before turning round and starting the engine.

Rosalie was thrilled that Alice had been so willing to join her shopping trip with Fae'Lee. Maybe she shouldn't have been so shocked, but it was that Jasper, Carlisle and Edward were not willing to let her go. It was as if Rosalie wasn't "responsible enough" to care for Alice if she were to "have an episode". Rosalie wasn't used to seeing the odd orange eyes, but it didn't startle her.
Rosalie was a bit pissed that her family wasn't open to having Fae'Lee around, but she had a feeling that they softened up a bit [well, at least some] when Fae asked if they were Angels. It worked with Rosalie, but it wasn't all that needed. Rosalie was like putty in little Fae'Lee's hand. She was so sweet and fragile, and too cute to deny anything to. Rosalie placed a lot of faith into Alice for finding the perfect dress for Fae.
Rose knew that Jasper would be a hard one to deal with to let Alice leave with her, just because he was so overprotective of his wife. Normally, Rosalie would not have passed up an opportunity to sit shotgun [if she wasn't driving the car herself] but in this case, if she sat up there, that meant she couldn't sit with Fae'Lee. She did know that she was to watch over Alice as they were away from the family. Tell Jasper I will watch over her too. Nothing bad will happen to her she reassured Edward in her mind and told him to do. She exited the house with Fae propped up on her hip. Rosalie chuckled at Alice's enthusiasm for this. She put Fae down and slid into the car herself. Rosalie chuckled, "No.[/color] Rosalie shook her head. "I don't think he would enjoy this as much as he enjoys our other shopping trips, if you know what I mean." she added at a vampire volume.

Fae'Lee was so excited when Rosalie had told her they were going shopping for her dress. She had beena little nervous meeting yet another of the Angels, but from the moment she met Alice her nerves dissapeared. She had giggled and asked shyly if she was like Alice from Wonderland, the blush on her cheeks glowed against her skin. She noticed though that Alice and Rosalie didnt look that much alike, except of course for their marble like skin. Even Alice's eyes were different to Carlisle's and Rosalie's, more Orange than golden. It didn't bother Fae though, she had taken time to admire the choker around Alice's neck, just as she had done with Rosalie's necklace.
When Alice gracefully skipped from the room to the garage Fae'lee watched in awe, she had never seen anything move so beautifully in her life. She wondered maybe she was a ballerina or something... As Rosalie picked her up she wrapped her small arms around her and smiled leaning her head lightly on her shoulder. She had never felt this happy in her life, though there was the guilt in the back of her mind. Part of her knew she shouldnt be happy, not after what had happened over the past few days. Then again how could she not? All the Angels she had met were so kind and loving to her. She imagined it was what it was like to be part of a real family.
She was excited when she was placed and buckled into the car. She had never been in such a lovely car and she was almost scared to touch anything... but she let her hands run over the leather seat covers and giggled lightly at the wonderful smell. When Alice looked to her asking if she was ready to find the dress and she nodded enthusiastically. Rosalie had told her that Alice would be able to find her dream dress and she was terribly excited about it. As Alice started the engine and pulled out of the drive Fae sat upright so she could peer out of the window.

Alice laughed that whimsical laugh that had been missing from the household since the hunting trip. Being locked up in the Cullen house had upset her, amongst other things. Her eyes flickered for a moment into the mirror to see her Orange eyes staring back, she quickly looked away again and pulled out of the drive. She knew that Edward and Jasper would be worried as hell, but she was welcoming the sudden offer of normality with open arms. She knew Carlisle still had very little idea what was going on, he didnt like admitting it and Alice gathered that this was why he wasnt being so open with the whole family about what was wrong.
'Emmett needs to get in touch with his femanine side... I dont see why he wont let me shop for him... Jasper lets me' She giggled lightly again. Yes Jasper let her shop for him, though he didnt really have much choice in the matter. She chewed her lip slightly thinking of Jasper, perhaps she would buy him something in town to make up for all the lying she had done... Something special, money certainly wasnt a problem. 'You think you could help me find a little something for Jasper? I need to give him something to say I'm sorry...' She knew that Jasper could feel how sad and guilty she was about lying... For Alice though that wasnt enough.
The car sped through the woodland roads, but Alice made sure to slow her pace slightly, if only for Fae's sake. Edward had thrown a fit when she said she was going to drive, however his'what if' objections fell on deaf ears. She just wanted to feel normal for one day, really it wasnt a lot to ask for. It didn't take them long to reach Port Angeles, Alice parked up as close as she could get to the shop she had in mind. The shop sold all sorts of Prom and Wedding dresses, she knew there would be some lovely bridesmaid dresses that Fae would love. She let Rosalie bring out Fae before locking the door and leading the way, a slight spring in her step.
'I might have to treat myself to a new dress too...' She looked to Fae and grinned 'We could have a Princess and Prince party...' She looked to Rosalie and giggled 'Emmett, Edward and Jasper would look so cute all dressed up' She winked lightly enjoying being able to be light hearted. It was nice feeling free and not feeling like she was some sort of walking time bomb. As they reached the store she pushed open the door letting Rosalie and Fae in first. The walls were covered with Dresses of all different colours, styles and sizes. Alice really had little doubt that this place didnt hold Fae's perfect dress.

Rosalie was a bit shocked that Alice hadn't freaked out towards Fae's suddent appearance. She had thought that Alice would not have welcomed Fae, but now that she had accepted her, Rosalie could not remember the reason behind her previous prediction. But hey, she couldn't detect the future. Rosalie chuckled as Fae gawked as Alice pranced from room to room. She smiled, the maternal feeling kicking in again, as young Fae wrapped her arms around her and leaned against her. She loved this feeling. Her heart wrenched as she realized that Fae could be taken away from her in the blink of a vampire eye. Rosalie was determined to not let that happen.
Rosalie chuckled at Fae's enthusiasm at Alice's question. It was so cute. Shopping came as a second nature to the Cullen girls, but appearantly there were some females out there who hardly got to go out and have a girl's day out. Rosalie looked up as Alice laughed. The sound was so foreign to the coven. She realized that the other Cullen's may because envious of her. Rosalie internally smiled at that. Rosalie laughed her musical laugh as Alice questioned Emmett's feminine side. "He lets me shop for him." she chuckled, "Maybe he's a bit afraid of what you'd get him." she joked.
Rosalie smiled, "Sure. I don't see why not?" She missed this. She missed having her sisterly moments with her 'sister'. Ever since Alice started becoming ill, Jasper, Edward and Carlisle hardly let her out of their site. It just wasn't the same having sister-bonding with Emmett. As they reached the marvelous and extravagant store, Rosalie stepped out of the car and walked over to the side Fae was on and picked her up out of the car. She looked over at Alice as she spoke and laughed, "Me too. I think they would, dearest sister," she smiled, "Excellent idea." She looked around at the different dresses and took a mental note of some that she favored over others. She couldn't wait for Fae to find her dress.

The ride in the car was just as exciting for Fae as the thought of finding a dress. She had been in Carlisles car too, but she had been too tired and scred to really appriciate it all that much. She watched as the trees flew past, she had never been to Port Angeles, she didnt know where it was, but she was excited. Esme had taken some time to clean her tights so she could wear them out. After all it was January and very cold. She had done a wonderful job and you wouldn't have been able to tell that morning they had been covered in blood. Fae was thankful as it covered up the bruises on her legs, it also meant her skin didnt stick to the leather interior, another bonus.
As they entered the town she watched the people curiously, she was still confused about the whole Angels living on the earth thing... She was sure she would get used to the idea eventually. As Alice parked the car she felt her excitement surge and as soon as Rose had unbuckled her she was reaching out to be held by her new adopted Angel 'mommy.' She grinned and rested her head on her shoulder again, she loved being in Rosalie's arms, she enjoyed her sweet smell and her reassuring strong arms. Fae giggled lightly and nodded at the thought of a Prince and Princess party 'I like that...' She blushed deeply 'You both would look so pretty in a Princess dress' She smiled shyly, it was true, they would look so magical, like real princesses.
As Alice held open the door and Rose stepped into the shop with her Fae gasped as her eyes were met with rows upon rows of dresses. Her eyes didnt know where to look first. So many designs and colours, she looked stunned unsure what to make of it all. Her head was turning as she took it all in, she had never seen so ,any dresses in her life. She looked to Alice who beamed back of her and Fae giggled lightly, she felt a little embarassed... All of this for her? She wrapped her arms around Rose in a small hug, still a little overwhelmed.

Being out of the house, away from both Jasper and Edward was a blessing for Alice. She hated being baby sat, but at least Rosalie couldn't read her mind or tell exactly what she was feeling. She loved Jazzy with all her heart but he was very protective of her, plus it didnt help that Edward and Jasper seemed to have some macho sibling rivalry going on... She didnt really get it all that well. When Edward had taken her out last night she had felt the tension between the two brothers, she hoped though that this Damienne girl might help calm Edward some. A more relaxed Edward was just what everyone needed, he was always to tightly sprung.Alice pouted a little at Rosalie's response, 'Why is everyone afraid of me? Am I really that scary?' She remembered the text she had recieved from Edward the day before 'Even Edward told me not to scare...' She trailed off a little 'Well he told me that I tended to scare people...' Phew that was a close one... Edward would kill her if she had let anything about his new girlfriend to be slip. 'Its not MY fault I dont remember being human' She spoke the last part so fast she knew Fae wouldnt pick it up. It was true she wasnt the best with socialising with people, her gift and not remembering life as a human made things hard at times... But she tried her best, it was never her intention to be scary in any way.
She shot a smile to Rose as she agreed to help her find something for Jasper. It was hard to find Jasper things he really liked... His excuse was always that he liked it cause Alice bought it. She was thinking something perhaps in two halves to remind themselves of each other when apart... 'Maybe a charm bracelet or something? or a long chain he can wear under his shirt... I dunno... I've never felt this guilty around him before so I dont know what to get him. Not only had she lied to him, she had attacked him. No amount of excuses could ever explain that. Jasper had been insistant it wasn't her fault, she was low on blood, she was hungry, he was trying to pin her down... It still didn't excuse her lunging at him. Though she was sure with Rose's help she would find something to say sorry...
She laughed as they stepped into the store, thinking of Edward, Emmett and Jasper dressed up in frilly Prince costumes... It was a fun idea, though not something the boys would agree to willingly... But this was for Fae after all, perhaps they could manage it somehow. She watched as one of the shop assistants came over 'Can I help at all ladies?' The assistant gave a big smile to Fae, who promptly giggled and hid her face in Rosalies shoulder. Alice smiled and nodded 'I hope you can... We are looking for a lovely pink dress fit for a little Princess.' She grinned and her eyes shifted to Fae for a moment. The shop assistant nodded and beckoned for them to follow her as she took them to the back of the shop where all the childrens dresses were.
There were so many dresses to choose from that if they didnt have help it would take them ages to go through them all. The shop assistant smiled 'If you just wait here one second I'll gather a few dresses together for you to look at.' She hurried off into the back of the store. Alice had been here before to get Dresses for Prom or just because she wanted a pretty dress, she loved the service she got here. Of course being a regular and also having a lot of money helped things. She looked to Fae and Rose 'I am sure we will find the perfect dress here.'

Rosalie could feel exuberance bouncing off of Fae and smiled. She loved seeing her happy. She had always wanted a child, but the opportunity vanished when she became immortal. But Fae was as close as Rose could get and she had no problem with that. Rosalie smiled widely at Fae and picked her up from the seat after speeding to the other side of the vehicle. She hurried, struggling to maintain a human pace. She swallowed the small amount of venom that appeared naturally in her mouth discreetly. She smiled and looked back at Fae, "Would you?" she asked Fae as she giggled. The sound was light, happy and innocent. It was pleasant. She smiled as Fae complimented her. Instead of her usual reply which consisted of, "I know", she replied to Fae, "Thank you; I think you would too." she smiled and poked the tip of Fae's nose lightly.
Rosalie chuckled, "Alice, honey, I was kidding." She raised an perfect eyebrow as Alice cut off her words. "Edward told you not to scare who?" Rosalie urged. She planned out now, if Alice didn't tell her, she would ask later, when Alice was too focused on something else. Rosalie replied quickly and quietly to Alice's comment about not remembering about her human life, "We know it's not, don't worry." Rosalie only found Alice a bit scary when she first encountered her, but then she got over it when Alice moved Edward out of his room. She credited Alice for that, then she started to take a liking to her.
Rosalie had a small but semi-strong bond with Jasper. He was almost always with Alice so there wasn't much time to bond with him, just in the little classes she had with him in school. Plus, since they feigned as twins, it kind of like they had a twin-like bond on some occasions. Rosalie preferred venting out to Jasper rather than anyone else in the family. It just seemed easier because of his gift; he knew what she was feeling and would sometimes try and manipulate them for her benefit. Rosalie looked over at Alice as she suggested a charm bracelet, "Hm. Maybe. I bet he'd like that." Rosalie had had her fair share of arguments with Emmett and they normally got over it...fairly quickly, so this time trying to make amends with someone without having a 'passionate moment'.
Rosalie heard Fae gasp but feigned it as if she hadn't. She didn't have to be Jasper to tell that she was shocked, amazed at what rested on the walls of the store. Rosalie smiled lightly and hugged Fae lightly back. Rosalie knew that Emmett would have some refusal about dressing up for the party, but Rose was sure she would be able to make him get over that quickly. Rosalie chuckled lightly and quietly as Fae hid her face in the crook of Rosalie's shoulder. Rosalie followed the shop assistant to the back of the store. She looked around at all of the dresses. "Fae, look." Rosalie insisted to her.
Rosalie smiled at the assistance and said, "Thank you." Deep down, Rosalie couldn't stand her. She didn't like a lot of humans, but Rosalie faked the usual happiness and liking toward her. She didn't want to startle Fae by being mean. Fae had always seen the happy and sweet side of Rosalie. "I'm sure we will, Alice." she chuckled.

Fae liked being in Rosalie's arms. Her cold frim grasp reassured her. Just as Carlisle's had when he found her in the forest. Fae looked to Alice as they walked towards the shop, thinking about what they had been talking about in the car. She didn't understand how people could be afraid of the pixie like angel. Fae certainly wasn't afraid of her, she was funny and so pretty and graceful. What was there to be scared of? 'Alice?' Fae questioned as she watched Alice skip slightly ahead of them. 'I don't think your scary' She blushed and smiled shyly. She liked Alice, just as she liked all the Angels, though her bond with Rosalie and Carlisle was far greater than the others.
Looking around at all the dresses in the shop Fae felt slightly overwhelmed. So many colours and designs, she had never seen such a wonderful shop before. As they were lead to the back Fae looked in all directions, her eyes wide with excitement. Somewhere amongst the colours and frills was the perfect dress, she knew Alice was right... Somewhere there they would find it. She looked to Alice as she voiced her own thoughts and Fae nodded enthusiastically. Fae moved to get down from Rosalie's arms, wanting to get a closer look at some of the dresses on the racks. Moving over to them and running her fingers gently over the different fabrics and giggling lightly.
Fae had never touched such expensive material before, she loved how the satins, silks and taffatas felt on her fingertips. She was so careful when touching them, almost scared they would break or tear if she touched them. All of this felt so alien to her, she wasnt quite sure how she felt about it all, excited, nervous, scared? Could one of these dresses really be hers? Whilst looking at the Dresses she kept looking back to Rosalie, wanting to make sure she was still there. There was still something at the back of her mind telling her all of this was too good to be true.

Alice sighed slightly as Rose said she was only joking 'I know Rose... Sorry, been a little wound tight lately.' The corner of her lip curled up slightly, it was an understatement for sure. She felt guilty that some of the family were more out of the loop, but she knew there would be little point in hiding the details for much longer. Carlisle still had no idea what was going on. Tensions in the house were rising, with Jasper also being emotionally unstable who knew how long it would take for the family to crack? She was starting to scare herself at times, it wouldnt take too much to make the other scared of her too. It would only take time.
She bit her lip as she asked who she was not meant to scare. She had been sworn to silence on Eddy's new 'homework' buddy. Of course Alice perhaps knew slightly more than Edward ever could about their future... He had a habit of not wanting to accept her visions, especially since she had seen her own death. 'Oh no one in particular... He just thinks I tend to scare the humans.' She knew Edward would tear her a new one if she let anything slip about Damienne... Alice knew Rosalie didn't like beng around humans all that much. Alice wasnt too sure how she would react to Edwards new interest... Of course Fae was different, she appealed to Rosalies maternal side.
Alice often wondered about her past as a human, obviously she had been one at some point. All she remembered before being a vampire was darkness... She looked to Fae as she said her name and beamed when she said she didnt think she was scary. 'why thank you Fae!' At least there was one human who didnt think she was... Alice watched Fae's face with inerest as she took in the shop and ran over to the dresses to touch them. She had never been around small children before, there was so;ething so cute about her. She was certainly sure Fae wouldnt mind Alice using her as her own little barbie doll. She looked to Rose, she knew she had wanted a child for such a long time, perhaps Fae would give her the chance for that.
She was finding being too close to Fae more of a challenge than she normally would. Having tasted how sweet human blood was she was suprised how Jasper kept it all together. However Alice was strong and she tried to not let it bother her. The shop assistant came back with an array of dresses on a rack. Each one beautiful and pink, but each a different design or fabric. Alice loved shopping for dresses, perhaps having Fae around would mean more girly shopping. Alice looked to Rose and grinned a little 'I still think we should find a nice dress for Emmett...' She giggled and winked lightly to her.
