Zavier headed through the forest after school, it had been an eventful day what with the confrontation with Edward and he needed a break. He hadnt realised they would react that badly to him and he certainly hadnt realised Edward could read his thoughts. He curse himself as he picked up and threw a rock at the trees, tearing a chunk out of the wood. Just because he wasnt like them didnt mean he was a bad person, it wasnt fair to judge him. He was angry at himself as well for letting him know about Sylvia, Zavier didnt have many weaknesses, but he was certainly one of them.
He growled and kicked a rock out of his way as he sat down on the forest floor. All he wanted was to lie low for a bit, now he had a mind reading vamp keeping tabs on him all the time. He thought about the new girl though, Bella, she was pretty cool, she was different to the other girls, most of the other school girl just wanted a bit of fun. Bella was deeper than that, he liked it. Some of the people were great, perhaps he would be able to settle for a while, maybe even get Edward to trust him, though that would take a while.
He was broken from his thoughts as he heard someone approaching, he looked over towards the school and his eyes narrowed, he wasnt exactly in the mood for company, but as long as it wasnt Edward he was sure he could cope... |

Jack hotly headed outside. She wanted to change so bad. She had dumped her stuff in Maci's car, and only had her bike keys on a dog collar in her hand. Smiling as soon as she got a short ways into the trees she started shedding her sweatshirt. As she had it up above her head, she heard a loud crack. Stopping and listening, she pulled her jacket fully off and sniffed the air. Vampire. Goddess! How many of them were there?!
Tying her jacket around her waist, she headed toward the sound, making noise to sound human, even though she knew her scent would give her away. Clipping the collar to her pants belt loop as she walked, she came upon a young man quickly and stopped when she saw them, crossing her arms across her chest.
"Hi there." She smiled at him, easy and non-challant. Stepping back and leaning against a tree, she examined him, from head to toe. Hmm, he was interesting, but it was getting to the point where vampires were too common in this town. |

Zavier felt his nose scrunch up as an odd smell was wafting his way... What the hell? Who ever it was smelt like they were wearing stagnant dog infested water as a perfume. He watched through the trees and saw Maci heading towards him. He didnt recognise her though he guessed she was a student at the school. Man he had had a bad enough day as it was without some girl seeing him without his contacts in.
He gritted his teeth as he thought about how Edward had reacted to him, man that dude needed an attitude check, he relaxed a little looking to Maci squinting his eyes at first then realising it was pointless and giving up. 'Hi... er... Can I help you?' He looked around wondering why she would be coming up into the woods, it wasnt the safest place for humans after all.
He turned to face her, wondering how she would react to him, and his eyes. She was too far away for him to touch her, yet... He held out his hand politely 'I'm Zavier... I dont think we've met...' He was very certain, he had already been checking out all the hot girls and who ever she was wasnt on any of the lists. |

When he held out his hand, she walked forward, "Jack." She said taking his had. "No I don't believe we have met. I'm new here." Why she had said that, she didn't know. Zavier smiled warmly to Jack and as she took her hand he passed through the emotion of calm and a feeling of friendship. He had a hard day and really didnt want any more confrontations, Edward had shaken him up petty bad. 'Yeah I know what you mean...' He noted the sarcasm in he smile and sighed internally, was he some running joke at the moment? He ran his hand through his hair as he sat down under one of the trees, all he wanted to do was have a quiet life and chill here, but it wasnt going to look like he would be able to do that.
Anothe new student? Wow it looked like Fork was up and coming... strange thought eally 'I'm fairly new too, only been here a month or so' He smiled to her a little, he knew his mind was a mess at the moment, he needed to take a chill pill or something... |

Jack just smiled as she went back and sat on the roots of a tree. This boy was interesting, not ooohh dark and interesting, but possible acquintance and tolerable person interesing. Wow was her mind messed up. Looking around the trees then back to Zavier's red eyes she smiled.
"So how do you like it here?" She asked. "I think the people are all on drugs, thinking that the Cullens are some scary shit, but also the best things in their school. It's annoying, and of what I've seen of them, that Edward guy thinks he's a hard ass, and that bugs me. What about you?"
She looked at Zavier curious to his opinion. She didn't tell him that she had thought, like every other girl, that Edward was good looking, in a strange way. He was that dreamy guy, that all girls dream about some time in their life. She sure did think he was good looking though. Mmmm, she loved her guys with muscle, and he had just enough to make it look really good. Ugh, what am I thinking? She thought to herself. Mentally shaking her head, she looked at Zavier, waiting for a response. |

Zavier wrinkled his nose a little as a bad smell came his way, dear lord was that her? He took a deep breathe and decided to keep breathing to a minimum. She didnt seem freaked by he eyes either, that was a little odd... He smiled and chuckled a little 'You may be right there...' He winced slightly at the mention of the Cullens name. He had already had an encounter with Edward and he didnt fancy another any time soon either.
'Yeah I know what you mean about Edward' He let out a slight sigh, Edward seemed like a total jerk. He looked to Jack 'I would avoid him if I were you... hes not the friendliest of types thats for sure.
Zavier laughed a little nervously and ran his hand through his hair it had been a long day and he knew his problems with Edward were only just beginning. 'So what brings you to this neck of the woods? He was curious to why anyone would want to come out this way, its the reason he had come out, he needed time to chill. |

Jack laughed. No he's not the friendliest of creatures." She smiled. This young man was cool. He was a vampire, she could smell that, but he was funny. They at least saw eye to eye on the fact that the Cullens, except for Alice, were strange. When he asked her why she was out in the woods, she shrugged.
"To run, to be free and have fun." She said staring out into the forest. "I like to get away from people and the woods seemed the only place to go to get away. You?" |

Zavier laughed 'Yeah tell me about it! That dude seriously needs to take a chill pill... Scrap that he needs hundreads of the damn things.' He hadnt met any of the others, he didnt think Edward would like it all that much if he got personal with his family in any way.
'Truth? I had a run in with Mr Cullen and I kinda needed some time to get some frustrations out' He smirked a little, he didnt know why he was telling Jack, maybe it had something to do with the fact Edward annoyed her too. |

"I know what you mean. It seems that out in the forest is the only place that I can come out and be alone, and change and go run." Jack said softly. Zavier was interesting. So the Cullens aren't the only vampires here. Jack thought. It was an interesting concept. Zavier seemed to just be passing through but that could probably cause a fight and Jack didn't want to be in the middle of it, no matter how much she enjoyed a good fight.
"So how did he rub you wrong? I thought he was too arrogant." Jack smiled as she leaned her head back. She really wanted to let loose and go running, but talking to Zavier seemed just fine at the moment. |

Zavier laughed and nodded 'Yeah you can say that again! He smiled to Jack, she seemed nice enough. Though at the moment anyone who thought Edward was a pain in the ass was good in his books. Zavier wasnt nasty by nature, he was generally calm and easy going, sure he wasnt perfect... everyone had a weak point. Didnt mean he was nasty though.
'Lets just say he doesnt approve of me being here...' Approve was an understatement, he knew that Edward would happily have tried to get him to leave, though it seemed he wasnt about to cause trouble with his family. That suited Zavier fine, he didnt WANT any trouble from them. 'I dont think he liked the fact I arrived when he was away... He doesnt seem to like suprises.' |
