Amanda parked her small blue car next to the shiny silver volvo as she turned off the ignition she took her hair out of it's pony tale then checked it with a small smile she reached into the back for her satual, took the key's out of the car sliding her bag onto her shoulder she climbed out of the car then closed the door. Once the door was closed she pressed the lock button on her remote, headed toward the rather intimitating building aware she was late but she'd had car troubles besides she'd possible already learned things that were being taught now a days. As she entered the large building she could feel several students staring at her which gave her the idea she was going to have a hard time fitting in but instead but she was used to be it by now mainly cause she'd only completed one year of high school, now she was supposedly a sophomore least according to her previous school records which were over a centry or so old hell she was 116.
As students rushed out of their classes she was bumped several times but managed to stand her ground but in the mist of all the students rushing to the lockers so they could get to lunch she found herself colliding with another student a male student to be more precise, she stumbled back but managed to keep her balance as she looked up at the mysterious stranger. '' I'm so sorry.'' She said biting her lip it was a habit she'd picked up from watching mortals get nervous, as her eyes locked with those of the student she'd bumped into she could sense something was oddly familiar about him she just couldn't put her finger on it. ''Could you be My brother?'' Amanda asked herself mentally not sure if he could read her thoughts either she'd only seen an old picture of him so she didn't know if he was who she was looking for or not but she happened to have the picture, information with her as she reached into her bag to get it she smiled a little.
He was definitely her brother even if the picture didn't do him much justice he didn't look any different as she put the artical back in her satual she waited for him to say something or ask her a question not really expecting him to be rude she hadn't bumped into him on purpose, she'd apologized. Even though most of the students had already gone to lunch she could still feel people staring at her which made her extremely edgy she wasn't used to this many people staring at her, she couldn't but help notice almost every single one of them didn't know how to mind their own business.

He had been distracted by the happenings that where happening when he walked into the throng of students in the hallway. So distracted was he that he was unable to anticipate the young girl that ran into him. She bounced off him and didn’t seem terribly hurt, which was unusual due to the solidness of his body. Quirking an eyebrow he stared at the girl, more than agitated with today so far. He should have stayed on the Isle. Coming back so soon was obviously a mistake.
The girl was thinking so loudly that her thoughts projected directly into Edwards mind. Her brother? Well, at least he didn’t have to worry about her. The only siblings he had were of the vampire persuasion and of the Cullen clan. She was nothing to him. “Don’t worry about it.” He practically growled as he turned and headed for the cafeteria, leaving her behind in the hallway.

'' Wait!!'' Amanda shouted after him as she ran to catch up with him placing her hand on his shoulder she closed her eyes long enough to concentrate either by touch or invasion she was able to read memories it was a complicated gift she'd developed over the last few centries of her life, now she was hoping it worked out she saw enough to know he was who she was looking for but she'd have to pursued him into to believing her. ''Edward Masen.'' She said calmly hoping she didn't irritate him more then he already was, that perhaps her gift worked but she was never positive as she removed her hand from his shoulder she bit her lip once again as a soft growl escaped her own lips because she was beginning to think this had all been a bad idea. '' My mother's name was Elizabeth Masen..'' Amanda thought hoping that would triger something or once again irritate him even more she wasn't here to cause any trouble she was here to find her brother, she'd found him but it'd be hard to interest him in listening to her story or explenation as she why she was here.

Edward ignored the girl as she called after him. His day had been bizarre to say this least, and this latest addition was unwelcomed. Her fingers clamped around his shoulder and she was able to keep hold where no human would have. Great, yet another vampire, had Forks become the newest living area for the eternally damned? He spun to face her, sneer present on his face. Shock registered and his face fell when she called him by his birth name. Eyes narrowing he glared at her.
Her next thought threw him even more. Wrapping his inhumanly strong fingers around her small wrist Edward dragged the girl into an empty classroom, locking the door behind him. “Who are you?” He demanded his voice a dangerous whisper.

'' I'm your sister, well it's a long story.'' Amanda said yanking her wrist out of his scrasp as she leaned against one of the desks waiting for him to react already he was furious with her she could see that in his eyes, she could see every memory he'd ever experienced she wasn't prying it was just how her gift worked. She didn't think he'd want to listen to her story but it was worth a shot she didn't know much about where she'd come from all she'd known was what she read in newspapers old newspapers, the family that raised her never once explained how they had gotten her although she'd known she was adopted that enough was obvious. '' Elizabeth Masen had a daughter while her son was still young, since the child wasn't her husband's she chose to place the infant in foster care. I was that baby, the family that raised me well they were a little on the crazy side.'' Amanda said not sure if he'd believe her or not but she'd be more then welcome to invade his memory even more considering that for the 1st two days of her life she was actually in his house, her mother would often comfort her with a sweet lullabye.

When the girl yanked free from Edwards grasp, he knew his assumptions were once again true. She wasn’t human. Any human who had tried to do something like that would have broken their wrist. “Impossible.” He growled, lunging for her with impossible speed. His hand closed around her neck as he pinned her against the wall, her feet hanging a half a foot off the ground. His parents had never mentioned that his mother had another child, nor did it ever come up in the gossip around town. What was the likelihood that a lost sister of his would be turned as well? It was all too much. “That’s not possible.” He repeated, reading her mind as quickly as he could. None of the thoughts that he picked up had any traces of deceit or treachery, however. From what he could tell, she was telling the truth.
But if it was real, wouldn’t Alice have seen something as important as this? Focusing his attention on his adopted sister and closest friend, Edward could feel her thoughts in the school. She had come back early as well. Alice would know if this vamp was speaking the truth or not. She would be able to see their future, and see if they were tied by the blood that once flowed through their veins. He released her, a look of disdain on his features. He wasn’t sure, but this had to be a trick of some sort. Why someone would bother he didn’t know, but he would find out.
“Come with me.” He ordered, focusing on her golden eyes that were similar to his.

'' Alright.'' Amanda said picking up on every word he said it was obvious he could read her thoughts just as easily as she could read his memories, for the longest time she felt the same way he had but something flooded her thoughts as she gazed into his eyes. She started humming the lullabye her mother had sung to her when she'd wake up fussing not sure if it would help him believe her or not but it seemed he had a way of finding if she was telling the truth or not but she continued to hum, bit the corner of her lip as she adjusted her bag. Not really sure where they were headed she hoped someone found what she was saying to be true, that she wasn't trying to trick anyone every word that escaped her mouth was true.
