Carlisle didn't like keeping Edward out of this because he knew how much the younger vampire cared about Alice, but he was going to have two loose canons on his hands if anything went wrong, he didn't want to through Edward into the mix as well. He would call him if he needed him, but he felt that he and Jasper were quite capable of dealing with this as they were. He hoped he wouldn't have to drag Edward into this because it wouldn't be fair to let Edward see any further potential decline in Alice and her well being because it was already an unpleasant enough experience having to watch her decline to this state in the first place. He knew Edward wouldn't like being out of the loop on this experiment, but Carlisle wasn't exactly in the loop himself. He was more making up as he was going along. He was going into this thing blind and he personally didn't like the feeling of not knowing whether or not it would work. He was just working on basic medicine here. He was replacing the blood Alice had lost in order to keep her from going on a rampage and making her visions come true. He wouldn't let her do that. He couldn't let her do that.
He didn't like the look on either Alice nor Jasper's faces as they looked at one another. Each were fighting themselves, trying to make things work. The conflict was obvious in each of the young vampires, slightly more obvious in Alice as Jasper did his best to fight himself and the emotions that were being thrown around the room. 'What now?' Jasper had asked. He almost missed Jasper's words, having focused on Alice to try and gauge how they could get through this without causing her any further pain. He didn't like the sounds Alice was making or the way she was behaving. His eyes followed her as she growled and jumped onto the bed. “We need to...get her to take this in, without tasting it,” he explained in a low tone to Jasper, even though he knew full well that Alice could hear him. He knew how important keeping her senses and her vegetarianism was to Alice, so he was hoping he could feed the blood down a tube, bypassing her tongue and her taste buds. He looked pointedly at Jasper. “She's not going to like this,” he went on hurriedly, moving towards the bag on the floor.
He crouched down by the bag, pulling out a couple of portions of blood and the pipework he needed. “Jasper, grab her,” he instructed, hating how that phrase sounded, but they couldn't risk anything going wrong and Jasper was going to be stronger and more capable of pinning Alice down than he was. He braced himself for the worst. He had his hands full now, so restraining Alice if she came at him would be near impossible. He wouldn't be able to keep her off. He was quite surprised that she hadn't tried to steal some of the blood already. She was thirsty. He knew that. He could tell from the ungodly amount of blood she had lost before and from the colour of her eyes. If there was any other way to do this, he would have taken it, but this was the quickest and most efficient way he could think of to replace all of the lost blood without her running off and doing something she would later regret. They all wanted her to see that they were on her side, they were trying to stop her visions materialise. They couldn't let THAT happen to their Alice. Not now, not ever.

Jasper didn't like how this situation was going: Alice growling at him and Carlisle, with her being all defensive as well. The combination was starting to seem more lethal than it first did on surface value. The flurry of emotions that Jasper could feel made this situation more and more complicated. Alice wasn't going to come quietly about this whole affair, so Jasper would have to make do with brute strength in this instance. He didn't like the idea of using force against her, but they needed to help her recover as quickly as they could, so they weren't putting her or anyone else in danger. Jasper was on autopilot as he watched Alice jump onto the bed and as he tried to listen carefully to any and all instructions that Carlisle was going to give him. He wouldn't held responsible if something went terribly wrong, so paying attention was key to making things run smoothly. 'Jasper, grab her,' Carlisle had said. Jasper twitched, feeling the conviction behind his words. He needed to mean it to get Jasper to do it.
'Grab her,' he told himself, trying to sound confident in his head as he approached the bed. “Alice, let me help you,” he whispered softly as he slowly made his way over to the bed, moving to kneel up on the end of the bed, facing her. “Please,” he continued in a slightly desperate sounding whisper. He knew she was going to put up a fight, but he would have to bring her down. They had to help her. He glanced back to Carlisle, noticing how tense his own muscles were now. The piping in Carlisle's hands looked, in a roundabout fashion, quite sinister, even though it was a simple piece of plastic. The blood made a slight growl rumble in his chest before he turned to Alice again. He arched forwards as if to press his hands into the bending before half pouncing at Alice, pinning her down, trying to be firm and gentle all at the same time as she struggled. He pinned her wrists down with his hands, pinning the rest of her body the best he could by straddling her thighs to try and get her to stop kicking. He leaned forward and breathed into her neck: “Let me help you.”

Alice let out a snarl as Carlisle gave Jasper the order to grab her. The bags of blood now visible she could feel the beast pushing hard to get out. Her focus turned from Carlisle to Jasper, her eyes watching him closely, as he stepped forward she moved back further onto the bed. Deep down she knew Jasper really wanted to help her, but her hunger was making her blind to that. Her eyes flickered from Jasper to Carlisle then back to Jasper. She saw the tubes and the blood, the thought of that blood made her body shudder, she wanted it, she wanted blood. The desperate tone to Jaspers voice cut through her like a knife, but there was something inside her that just didnt care. She was losing herself and it scared her.
She let out an inhuman screech as Jasper pounced on her and pinned her to the bed. Her arms flailed as he pinned her chest, her nails found his flesh and started clawing trying to get him off. Though Jaspers strength was too much for her weakened state and her attempts to stop him pinning her wrists failed miserably. She hissed at him looking up at him 'Let... Me... Go!' Her voice rough and harsh as her back arched off the bed, Alice was weak, the monster inside her was stronger than her. She tried flailing her legs to kick him off, but he was pinning her legs now too. Alice felt an instinctual growl rumble through her lips, her mouth opening wide in an animal like snarl. She watched almost in slow motion as Jasper leaned down to whisper to her as a wicked grin spread across her face. 'Okay...' Her voice smooth and filled with malice different to the normal Alice he knew. She was an oppertunity to get him off her... So she took it.
Before Jasper could react she bit down hard on his throat, her teeth penetrating his rock hard skin. Her eyes were wild and hungry and as soon as her teeth had sunk in she couldnt let go, she wanted blood, any blood, she wanted all of it. She wanted the taste, the smell, the feel of it running down her throat. She felt Jasper tense, she knew he hadnt expected this. However the part of Alice that would have died of shame at such an act was nowhere to be seen. Her teeth were locked into his throat, her arms and legs tried to curl around him, drawing him closer to her. She was all instinct now, Alice was nowhere to be seen.

Carlisle watched Jasper closely as he tried to talk Alice down before simply pouncing on her. Quick, evasive action may be the difference between helping her and hurting her. He hoped things would run smoothly and that Jasper could keep her pinned for long enough to put the pipe down her throat and pour it into her system. The more he thought about it, the crueller it seemed. He needed to stop thinking about it and start doing what needed to be done. This wasn't going to be pleasant for anyone. It needed to be done in order to help Alice, to save Alice. It was important to everyone that Alice would be able to recover as quickly as possible to reduce the amount of drama they would all have to go through. Something to Carlisle that, despite this effort and the idea of pumping the blood into her system, this wouldn't be the end of this escapade. There would be more to deal with, Carlisle could just see it, and he didn't need a special ability of any kind to be able to see that. Once things went 'wobbly' with the family, things took their time to resolve themselves, despite the collective effort. This was worth it, well worth it.
He hoped against hope that this would work. If his initial theories, based on basic human transfusions, that this would work, even for someone who was a vampire like them. It was a start if it didn't work completely. It would give him the chance to think things over at least. Well, he hoped if this didn't completely work, it would at least give him time to think. They would be in big trouble if it didn't completely work and it didn't give him the time to think things over. He let out a slow breath, trying to compose himself, readying himself as well as he could for what he would have to do now. He hoped this would run smoothly in order for it to be able to pass quickly as well. He wouldn't be able to continue if it took an extended amount of time because the process could affect Jasper quite badly because of the smell of the blood and the burn in his throat it would create. He tried not to clench his fists at the risk of bursting the blood packets in his hand or puncturing the tube in his other hand. This just seemed like a nightmare. He couldn't imagine being in Alice's place.
He allowed Jasper to pin Alice down the best he could before approaching the side of the bed. He fixed the pipe and a packet of blood together, edging forward nervously. He jolted back suddenly when Alice clamped down on Jasper's throat. “Jasper,” he hissed, rushing forward, to stop before he even reached them when Jasper simply held up a hand, signalling for him to stop where he was. He then turned his hand, so that it was palm up. Carlisle looked at his hand, confused by what Jasper wanted. He heard the boy's hissed words and handed over the blood that was already attached to the pipe. He reeled back as Jasper seemed to deal with the situation himself. He clamped a hand over his mouth as he backed up to the wall. Jasper wanted to take care of this and Carlisle couldn't and wouldn't get in the way of that. He was clearly trying to make up for the fact that he didn't do a lot beforehand, but that had been through Alice's request. He could see now that Jasper seemed to have formulated this plan quicker than he would have anticipated. He threw the next blood packet onto the bed, moving to the bag to pick up the rest.

Jasper winced as she clawed at him, having not managed to pin her arms, but, after fighting her a bit more, he managed it. He glanced down to the pierced sections of his skin, watching them heal over in the same instance. He glanced back up at Alice just as she snarled 'let [her] go'. “No,” he replied simply and firmly. He couldn't let her go, no matter what she did to him. He heard the growl, but ignored it the best he could, focus on the sound of Carlisle moving to the side of them. He kept his eyes focused on Alice's, right up until his breathed his words against her neck. He had hoped that his words would calm her down and make it easier for Carlisle to work, but they seemed to have the opposite affect: she bit down on his neck, clamping her teeth into the skin. He tensed, snarling, but not moving from where he was. He had taken this when he was training vampires many years ago and something like that just didn't go away. He knew this would scar and he knew Alice would see it, but he'd see it as a reminder of him trying to save her life.
He heard Carlisle move to help him, but he lifted a hand, palm to Carlisle, risking letting go of Alice's for a moment, hoping she would just continue to claw at him if anything. She wouldn't be able to fight him off with one hand. He turned his hand over, not looking at Carlisle, hoping he would take the hint. “Give me...the blood,” he forced in a hiss. His face twisted into a grimace as he closed his eyes, hand still held out to Carlisle, leaning to let Alice carry on as she was. If this worked, she'd be better...based on Carlisle's plan. He felt the plastic settle in his hand and, just twisting it around in his fingers, he pulled the pipe free, dropping it into the bed, spilling some of the blood as he kept his eyes closed and brought the now open blood pack to his mouth. He was fine just taking it through the neat hole that had been made, but Alice was taking more and more from him. He clamped his teeth down into the plastic, letting it go for a fraction of a second to spit out the plastic and drain the rest of the pack.

Alice was suprised that Jasper didnt seem to fight back against her, as the fresh human blood hit her tongue she couldnt let go. Her free hand clung to Jasper, clawing, keeping him close to her. The smell of the blood and the taste drove her further into a feeding frenzy. Human blood was so much more satisfying than animal blood and Alice felt it rushing through her like a wonderful drug. She snarled greedily as she drank deeply as he took in the blood from the packets. It tasted so good and Alice didnt want to stop, it was making her feel so good. Even just from the first pack she could feel the strength coming back to her. She wriggled her other hand free from Jaspers grasp and wrapped it around him drawing him close, not wanting to let him go. Though not because she loved him and needed him, but because she wanted the blood he was drinking.
As the blood poured into her throat the visions of her with red eyes returned to her... But this time she didnt seem to care, she didnt even care that others saw this... She just needed the blood. As her strength returned she found that she was getting stronger than Jasper. With a growl she pushed him back, still attached to his throat, now she was pinning him to the bed. Her eyes becoming a deep orangy red colour. Her now freed legs wrapped around his waist, completely latching onto him, she had completely forgotten Carlisle was there... The only thing that mattered to her then and there was blood, and lots of it.

Carlisle had placed the rest of the blood in Jasper's reach, Alice seemed to wrapped up in Jasper than to reach for it herself. He remained beside them, just if they needed him. He kind of felt uncomfortable, like this was one of their precious, private moments. He would close his eyes and tense his jaw from time to time. This didn't seem right at all. He snapped his eyes open when he heard Alice move, pinning Jasper down now. He stepped forward, to another hand up from Jasper as he picked up the last blood pack. This was getting dangerous now, for Jasper and for Alice, and he couldn't decide who it would be worse for. He reached up, rubbing the back of his neck as Jasper reached out to him, hissing a few words. He shook his head slowly. “I can't, Jasper. There IS no more,” he replied. Realisation dawned on him and panic began to build inside of him when he realised that Jasper wouldn't be strong enough to fight Alice off if he needed to now. He hadn't brought enough blood. He had brought as much as could be taken without arousing suspicion, but it wasn't enough. Now, Jasper was running out.
Carlisle could feel the panic bouncing in waves off of Jasper. He had come to the same realisation: Alice was stronger than he was. He couldn't fight her, but if he let her continue, she'd kill him. “Alice, Alice,” he shouted, almost in a snarl as he rushed towards the pair of them, kneeling beside them on the bed. “Alice, you're going to kill him,” he shouted, even though nothing seemed to be working. He heard Jasper's pleas as she continued to stay latched onto him. “ALICE!” he shouted, his voice angrier than he had ever heard himself be before. He grabbed her sides, trying to pull her off of Jasper, without causing him further injury, but it didn't seem to be working. “Alice, you need to let him go,” he instructed, pulling at her still. She wasn't going to give up without a fight. “EDWARD!” he shouted, half through panic, half through anger. He wasn't going to let Alice do this. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he did and he knew full well Alice wouldn't be able to live with herself if she did either. “Alice, please, let him go. You need to let him go,” he said, he didn't want to give up, but he just felt like giving up. She felt lost to him.

Jasper heard Carlisle move towards them, as he knew he would do in the first place, when Alice spun them over, pinning him down instead of her pinning him down. He quickly held up a hand, in the same manner as before, getting him to stop before he got any closer. He couldn't see Carlisle now. He could before because he was on the side of him that Alice wasn't latched onto. Now, he was on the same side as the side Alice was latched onto because she had flipped them over. He reached out in the direction of where the blood had been. He patted the bed, unable to find anything. “More...I need...more,” he hissed, feeling incapable of real speech anymore. He closed his eyes as Carlisle spoke. There was no more? 'Great,' he thought weakly to himself. Alice was clamped to him and there was no sign of her letting him go. 'Oh, no...' he thought, a wave of panic appearing from no where, but he couldn't control it. Maybe the panic would stop Alice...now, considering her state...that was clutching at straws.
He craned around the best he could, trying to find something that would help him. Nothing besides Carlisle could. He caught a glimpse of his reflection, spotting Carlisle on the other side of them. His own eyes seemed a hell of a lot darker than usual. He could only imagine them being jet black or a deep carmine red. He dropped his head back onto the pillow in almost defeat. He couldn't give up. He couldn't let Alice do this. He heard Carlisle trying to get Alice off of him and heard him calling Edward. It began to feel like he was under water. He couldn't hear anything right...He felt like he was drowning as well. He felt the blood welling up in his throat. He didn't need to breath, so why did he feel like that? He spluttered up some blood, feeling it rain back down over his face. “Al...ice...” he said, his word broken, coming out in no more than a whisper. He tried to raise it head, but it felt like a lead weight. He tried to lift his arms, pressing his hands against her shoulders to try and push her off, but it wasn't working. “Al...ice...” he tried, failing.

Edward had been trying to pay as little attention to what was going on in Alice and Jaspers room as possible. He didnt like what was running through everyones mind one bit and he had to use all his willpower to not go running in and stop them from doing what they planned. Alice's mind was getting more instinctual, more like an animal than the person he knew her to be, he had never seen Alice like this before and it scared him. He tried concentrating on some school work, it was pretty pointless because the he could do it all with his eyes shut. Though Edward tried none the less, he needed the distraction. He could hear Esme's worried thoughts downstairs as she continued to tidy the kitchen as much as she could. She too was trying to keep her mind occupied, trying not to let the events upstairs upset her too much. Edward was glad his 'mother' couldnt hear the thoughts going through he loved ones heads right now...
Edward tensed as he headed Alices thoughts as she went to bite Jasper. He stood up quickly sending paper flying all over the room but Jaspers instructions to Carlisle made him sit back down. He was on edge again now... He could see in his mind what Jasper intended and it made him sick to the core... Alice, innocent pixie like Alice was feeding blood from Jasper... He growled, he really didnt like it as he once again tried to concentrate on his papers, nope still wasnt going to work. He had Alice's lustful, bloodthirst thoughts, mixed with Carlisles worried thoughts swirling around his head. Not to mention Jaspers thoughts too, Edward placed the pen to the paper to start writing but a sudden change in their thoughts and he found the pen snapping in his hand. His eyes looked to the door and a chill ran down his spine as he heard Carlisle shout his name.
Edward threw open the door so hard and fast it came off its hinges. The sight that met his eyes terrified him as as stood for a second stunned. Seeing Alice latched so tightly onto Jasper and Carlisle trying to pull her off. Edward knew the human blood was making her stronger than she would have been on animal blood. He felt a pang of fear run through him, realising that Alice could indeed kill Jasper if they didnt get her off. 'Alice...' He moved to the opposite side that Carlisle was on, grabbing her as tightly he looked up to Carlisle as he started losing hope and snarled 'DONT YOU DARE!' He had never spoken to his father that way before but he wouldnt let him give up on Alice... She wasnt lost to them... She couldnt be...
With Carlisle's help he pulled Alice as hard as he could, only hoping they werent too late. He felt as Alice gave way and finally let go of Jasper in one swift movement, their combined strength managing to throw Alice across the room. Edward looked to Jasper then to Carlisle before moving to Alices side. He initially heard Alice growl but as he held her he heard her thoughts change as she looked up and saw Jasper on the bed. He held her close as he felt her tremble and scream, Edward didnt know what to do. He only hoped they hadnt been too late...

The more blood she had the more wonderful Alice felt. She had never felt this strong and powerful before. She didnt want to stop drinking, and the vampires instinct with human blood was to drink dry. The monster inside her was so thrilled by the blood that Alice was hidden so far inside. This wasnt the Alice anyone knew and loved, this was the monster she had feared becoming, but now she was enjoying every moment. In that moment as she drank deeply from the love of her life nothing else mattered but the liquid of life that poured down her throat. She almost purred with pleasure as she felt her victim tense beneath her.
She heard a name being called... Alice? who was that? she didnt even know anymore, so lost in it all. She felt herself being tugged as she growled, she could feel the blood running low, she didnt want it to end. She felt her victims throat vibrate... That name again... Alice... The voice was weak, distant... Then she felt more hands on her... She was so close... So close to getting it all, she wanted it all, she snarled and hissed as she felt herself being thrown from her victim, flying back through the air and hitting the wall with a crack she slumped to the ground growling. The blood inside her made her feel so alive... But the frenzy was dying, and with it the realisation began to sink in.
She felt Edwards arms wrap around her and she trembled as she looked up to the bed. It all came rushing back to her... Jasper... He had pleaded with her to stop... She hadnt stopped, Carlisle... He said she was killing him... 'JASPER! She screamed as she flung Edward easily to the side, jumping onto the bed, but this time there was no hint of the monster, her face twisted in horror at what she had done. 'Jasper... Jasper I'm sorry... Jasper... Please...' She clung onto him desperately scared to let go, she couldnt have done this... He couldnt be dead, she couldnt have killed him... She was becoming the monster she had feared so much... This was all her fault and she felt helpless, she looked to Carlisle panic filled her 'Carlisle... Please...' she pleaded 'Please...'

Carlisle couldn't help, but feel panicked by all of this. He should have seen this coming, but he hadn't. He glared at Edward as the younger vampire snarled at him. Edward was, of course, right. He helped Edward as they both pulled at Alice, dragging her off of the now exhausted looking Jasper, throwing her away from him. Carlisle looked to Edward, then Alice, then moved to Jasper's side. It seemed Alice wasn't completely with it yet, but reality was quickly creeping up on her. He leant over Jasper, checking his eyes. “Jasper, can you hear me?” he questioned slowly. He had had his eyes closed for a few minutes now and was completely motionless. Not even the pretend breathing he had nearly perfected was there now. He reeled back as Alice threw herself back at Jasper, clinging to him desperately. Jasper's eyes had been responsive when he looked at them, but he couldn't just go back to the hospital for more blood. “We need to get him something...fast,” he said pointedly, looking towards Edward. He reached into his pocket, dialling for Emmett as he left the room to make his call.

Jasper still felt like he was underwater and sinking fast. He could vaguely hear that people were speaking, but he didn't have a clue what they were saying. Everything was dark. He had his eyes shut and couldn't find the power to open them again. He felt Alice being pulled away from him, his arms falling flat out at either side of him. He tried to lift on of his arms to reach for Alice. He felt his mouth move to say Alice, but no noise came out. 'Al...ice...' he thought weakly. Edward had to be in the room. Alice wasn't going to let go if just Carlisle tried to pull her off. He felt his eyes being opened and, standing over him, he could vaguely see Carlisle, checking his eyes. He had just about managed to focus when Carlisle backed away and the familiar weight of Alice clung to him again. He could hear her pleas, just about. He was coming back up. He coughed again, spluttering blood over his shoulder and chin again as he continued to fight the grey that was drawing in. 'Alice,' he thought, more firmly this time.
He tried to take a breath to be met by a choking sensation. He sat up quickly, eyes snapping open, coughing and spluttering again, blood and venom running down his chin, his front and into his lap. His hand searched for Alice, blindly finding her wrist. “Alice,” he said in a very low whisper. He ran his tongue over his lips, before noticing the taste that was filling his mouth. He pulled a face of disgust. 'Stale,' he thought to himself. It was what was left over from the last hunting trip, trying to expel itself from his system. He lifted his free hand, reaching up to wipe his mouth and chin. He slowly and slightly awkwardly turned to Alice, trying to smile, but feeling only the corners of his mouth move. “Alice,” he said in a bright, yet still very weak tone. His hand slowly and shakily traced up her arm to her cheek. “You're alright,” he said softly, gently brushing his hand back into her hair.

Alices arms wrapped around her mates frame again, but this time it was to hold him lovingly, not to attack him. She felt the guilt burn inside her, how could she have done this? 'Jasper... I'm so sorry... Please dont leave me... I... I need you... Please Jazzy...' She gritted her teeth as she saw the new scar where her bite had healed over, shining brightly on his neck. It would remain the constant reminder of what she did... She attacked her own mate... She might have killed him. She could never forgive herself if he died because of her. She watched as Carlisle left to get Emmett to hunt for Jasper, she felt so scared, she really didnt know what to do, it was all her fault. What if her vision had been wrong? What if she killed Jasper instead of all those people? This was worse... Much worse...
Alice jumped as Jasper suddenly sat up coughing blood and venom everywhere. She trembled looking to him terrified. She heard him whisper her name 'I'm here Jazzy...' Her voice trembled in fear, he wasnt dead... But he was so weak, she felt helpless. She couldnt smile, she had done this to him, this was all her fault. 'No... I'm not... I've done something terrible' She closed her eyes looked away from him. She would never forgive herself for this, she had attacked the one person in her life she loved more than life itself. She would die for Jasper, but instead she had nearly killed him. Her whole family were in danger as long as she was around... She felt so trapped and lost.

Jasper felt Alice's love flowing through him in waves, mixed in with the pain of what she had done. He didn't care about what she'd done. She was okay...well, she was visibly okay. She'd fed at least. He would have let her take every last drop, but he knew she wouldn't have been able to live with that later. His eyes flickered to Carlisle as he left the room. He glanced to Edward ever so briefly before turning to Alice and focusing only on her. He finally managed a small smile, despite the look on Alice's face and the things she was feeling. He slowly shook his head when she said she'd 'done something terrible'. “You didn't...” he said softly, shuffling onto his knees to face her properly. “Far from it...you reacted...I wanted you to,” he went on, both hands finding either side of her face to make her look at him. Looking into Alice's eyes, he remembered thinking what colour were his own. They were redder than Alice's, even he could tell that. “You did what I wanted you to do...without me having to asked,” he continued slowly, pressing his forehead against hers.
He doubt the smell of stale blood was that good for either of them, but he just wanted her to understand and just to be close to her. “I didn't want to force it upon you. I couldn't have asked you to do that and you know it,” he went on, letting his eyes fall shut. “And you weren't going to let Carlisle help you...I couldn't just stand by and do nothing again,” he added, opening his eyes, his voice stronger now the more confident he became in his own words. “It didn't even take me a fraction of a second to decide what I wanted to do: I wanted to save your life...even if it cost me mine,” he went on. He still felt weak, but he couldn't let there be any doubt behind his words because he meant every single one of them. “I love you, Alice, and I would do ANYTHING to keep you alive,” he went on, trailing off into a soft whisper. He had wanted to kiss her lips, but the stale blood and venom in his mouth kept his lips away from hers. Instead, he lifted his head and pressed his lips against her forehead before putting his own against it again. “This...was nothing,” he finalised simply.

Alice looked deeply into Jaspers eyes, she finally realised that it had all been intentional. Everything, he had planned it and she was too weak to have seen it. If she had have known she wouldnt have taken the bait, she would have done anything to stop him from tempting her. She had almost killed him, she wouldnt be able to live without him, how could he even consider sacrificing himself for her? 'I...I love you too...' She closed her eyes, she felt so sad and guilty. Relieved that he was still alive, but he would fovever have the scar from where she... His life mate... attacked and nearly killed him. She leaned forward and wrapped her arms around him, letting her lips briefly brush against his... She never wanted to let go, she just needed to be close to him. She had almost lost everything she held dear and now she didnt want to let go.
