Alice sighed as she headed into the mountains with her siblings, Carlisle had insisted that she was escorted everywhere she went. She knew he meant well but having the whole family watching her constantly was getting on her nerves, she knew Carlisle meant well, she also started realising how Jasper felt when everyone was watching incase he slipped up. Carlisle had also insisted she went hunting again, she hadnt lost that much blood the other day so she didnt really see the point in it, but she knew Carlisle was only trying to help.
She hadnt had any real problems since the incident in Carlisles office, a headache or two, but it wasnt anything major. She had a couple of visions since, but nothing odd at all, she knew Esme was on her way back, she also knew that Carlisle would probably update her on everything which would make her worry loads... She tried to be as up beat as possible, which was a struggle since she didnt know what was going on. She knew Carlisle had yet to hear back from Carmen and that every moment that passed Carlisle was getting more and more worried. She didnt like being the cause of his suffering, she hoped though that having Esme back would help calm him a little.
She stopped and sat down and waited for the rest of the escort to catch up with her, she had stormed off ahead without realising it. She had to admit though, perhaps a hunt was exactly what she needed to get her mind off it all. She watched her siblings as they came to join her, she could feel every set of eyes on her, watching her as if she was about to explode or something. Her fingers touched her cheeks lightly remembering the feel of the blood running down her face and she shuddered, it wasnt something she wanted to experience again any time soon.
Alice looked up to Edward as he came to her side, she knew he was just as scared as she was, but she was still hiding the true extent of the horror from him. She knew if he saw the image in her head he would freak big time and probably would end up locking her in her room and making sure she didnt get out. She shot a tentative smile at him as she bounced up to stand, thanking her graceful balance that her slight dizziness didnt show.
'So since we're up here I guess we should get something to eat...' She could smell a whole array of prey around, even though she wasnt all that hungry she would feed like a good little vampire so Edward could run back to Carlisle and tell him she had been being a good little girl... She caught a glare from Edward as he caught that thought in her head and rolled her eyes slightly.

Hunting with Alice hadn't turned out to be the fun it usually was. He girl that would usually tear through the terrain with him sulkingly danced her way into the forest. She was preoccupied with her own thoughts, some of which she stopped herself from thinking around him, which only irritated him more. He was so concerned about her that he had a difficult time enjoying himself. Her thoughts were beginning to get to him, as much as she was thinking about her issues, that he let her storm off on her own. Maybe she needed a little space to breathe.
But not too much space. Edward kept within thinking distance to know if there was any trouble. The rest of the crew had lagged behind. Feeling uncomfortable with the space between himself and Alice, Edward burst into a quick run, catching up with his favorite sibling. When she smiled and stood, one of his eyebrows went up in question and he stuck his tongue out at her. He knew she was feeling low, and that everyone worrying about her was only making it worse. “I'm never one to argue with feeding.” He agreed, sounding like the man he was.
Lifting his chin Edward inhaled deeply, letting the air pass over his tongue as he began to sent. Trying to pick something to track, his sister's thoughts invaded him mind. A quick glare was shot in her direction, “I hate to tell you this, Alice, but you've never been a good little girl.” He continued to pick up the scents and went to stand next to her, to wait for the others. “So what are you up for tonight?” He asked conversationally, trying to get away from the serious matter that loomed over them for at least a little while. “There's a heard of deer nearby, a couple mountain lions, and bear.” Grinning evilly he faced his sister, “There are some rabbits too, if you're not up to bigger prey.”

Alice felt bad being in such a strange mood, it really wasnt like her and it wasnt helping Jasper any at all. She was faily suprised that Jasper had hung back with the others, though she guessed that just like Edward he wanted Alice to have her own space. Edward had been her life line over the past few days, an honour that was usually Jaspers, however she couldnt bring her self to talk to Jasper fully about the incident, only that she had felt unwell. Though she didnt know if Edward or Carlisle had told him any more, however by the way he was happy to let her run off ahead if he had he hadnt been told everything.
Alice beamed a little at Edward as he spoke and chuckled at his sudden manly attitude, she felt bad for her brother, so much had happened over the past few days for him. She was oddly protective of Edward, just in the same way he was protective of her. However she felt closer ever since the incident in Carlisle's office, whether that was because she felt bad for having hidden so much from him or because she really needed him then... Perhaps it was both.
She pouted a little at Edward and twisted her fingers together, she liked to think she was, but then again perhaps she was, well, too Alice to be totally good. She let a brief giggle escape her lips, the first time since it happened as Edward offered her rabbits. 'Although I am sure a rabbit will fill me up today I doubt Carlisle would be all too happy at hearing that he sent you to make sure I feed for me to only take a bite.'
She hadnt thought much about what she wanted, she was sure if they were hungry, Emmett would go after the bear, Edward would go for the lion and normally she would go for the deer, however she had to admit rabbit was sounding far more like the meal she actually wanted. 'Theres a fieldmouse in the grass over there' She pointed and smiled 'I think thats enough for me today.' She didnt know how Edward would react to it, probably not all that well considering part of her was actually being serious.

Jasper stood behind his wife not really saying much but he could sense something wasn't right it scared him, when she said there was a field mouse near by he quietly but quickly caught the small creature in his hand then walked back to alice. ''Here you are my sweet.'' He said trying to sound calm but it wasn't working he was worried because his pixie wasn't acting like herself, he honestly had no idea what to do right now all he knew was that she wasn't herself. His own emotions were confused at the moment but he was more worried about alice then he was himself obviously he didn't worry about himself very much, he just hoped he got his pixie back cause he didn't like the idea of losing her.

Alice giggled lightly as Jasper handed her the mouse, she let it run over her hand and shoved it under Edwards nose 'Do you think its enough Edward?' She smirked a little and watched the mouse explore up her arm. Her other arm wrapped loosely around Jaspers waist. For some reason the mouse seemed quite contented with hits new surrounding, sniffing around until it found one of Alices many pockets and creeping inside to curl up.
Though through the laughing joking Alice there was something much deeper in her mind and feelings stirring. Times like this usually came as second nature to Alice, but this time it was meerly a facade to hide her fear. It was hard enough having to mask her thoughts to Edward, but to have to mask her emotions from Jasper was killing her slowly. She was always so open with him, however she knew it was all for the best. She knew that if Jasper and Edward found out the truth they would probably tie her up, lock her in her room and take turns to guard her to make sure she never went out.
She noticed a slight scowl from Edward and she guessed she was pushing things a little too far. 'Theres the scent of a small deer nearby.... If I had that would it make you happy?' She looked to Edward pleading a little, she didnt want any fuss and she just wanted to get home. She leaned her head gently on Jaspers arm, she needed alone time more than anything. No matter how she loved everyone she knew that they had all taken Carlisles literally when he said that EVERYONE had to watch her all times. She guessed that even though she had promised not to go anywhere alone he didnt fully trust that she wouldnt just sneak off when no one was looking to get some alone time.
She wanted everything to go back to normal, however she didnt know if that was ever going to happen. After all Carlisle had no idea what was going on, she always thought Carlisle knew everything. Not that she thought any less of him, it was more that he always had the answers, but this time he didnt. She had never seen Carlisle so stressed, it was all her fault too. Though she hoped that having Esme back would help things.
'Esme should be home, shes going to be eager to see us so lets get it over with.' She watched Edwards face for a moment before shooting a mental message to him, knowing all to well he was listening to her thoughts *I just want to go home Edward, I dont want this fuss, let me quickly hunt and we can go back all happy.* Her eyes gave him that pleading look that he never could resist.

She was running late, she was always running late when it came to things she needed to do. Alice had let her know that they were all going hunting this weekend and that she was more than welcome to join them. She knew going meant prolonged exposure to one, Edward Cullen. She shook her head as she headed off in search of the group. What she wouldn't give for the sense to actually look at a clock before it was too late. She shrugged her shoulders, before breaking out into a run.
She spotted them about a mile off and above them were deer. She knew what Alice was planning. She just wanted to leave, she knew how that one felt. Before they could go anywhere though she smiled and whispered so softly she knew they would hear her. "Naughty plans alice." She said stifling a giggle before it could alert the deer.
(sorry for the short post at least i posted)

Alices head turned sharply hearing Angels voice and she smiled, she had half expected her not to come. Though she knew that Esward wasnt going to be too happy about it, it would be nice to have someone around that didnt treat her like a walking time bomb. She gently squeezed Jaspers side, she had faith in Jasper that if things got bad between Angel and Edward he would step in and calm things down a little. Things had been getting tense around the house, what with Carlisles constant worry and Edwards sour mood she was hoping that perhaps at some point they could achieve normality, well for a vampire anyway.
She shot a glance over to Edward, knowing all too well he would have been alerted to Angel being in the area. She didnt doubt that sparks would fly, but she was getting impatient and agitated by still being in the mountains and not back home... Alone.

Jasper stood still not making a move he didn't know what he'd do if he lost Alice but he had to stay calm other wise his ability would get the best of him, he didn't need that least not now anyways. He knew he needed to feed himself mainly because he hadn't eaten in a few days but with all the stress he didn't think he could eat, he knew that if alice heard his stomach growl she'd tell him to eat so when it did he frowned muttering under his breath incoherently. Jasper hoped alice hadn't heard his stomach because he'd refuse to eat until he had his pixie back to normal or as normal as possible for her, he knew it wouldn't go over to well but she meant the world to him.

Emmett as usual was lagging. He ran through the trees following the scent of his family. He also sniffed out what else was out in the forest. Mmm...bear. He liked bears. Shaking his head as he kept running he came upon his family. As he noted who was there, he saw Alice, Edward, Jasper and Angel. Hmm, he knew Edward wasn't so thrilled about that one.
"Hello, siblings." He said as he broke the trees and stood among them. "How late am I?"

Hearing Alice's giggle made the tenses muscles in Edward's body relax. That was the most normal thing that had happened since the mouth of hell seemed to have opened in Forks. He rolled his eyes at his sisters comment, and was about to offer a biting response, but before he could Jasper had run after it. His eyes flashed as she mocked him with the mouse. Carlisle had been very clear, and he wanted Alice to eat. She knew that, she had been there when their father had decided that it was the best option.
“It's better than a mouse.” Edward replied. The deer would be enough to keep her full for a small while, and it would be enough to satisfy Carlisle. Keeping his sister safe and his father happy was all that matter to Edward at that moment. He was glad to hear his sisters announcement that Esme would be home soon. Hopefully his mother could help to calm his father and the rest of the family as they worked through the many issues that had cropped up.
As soon as Alice's thought filtered through his mind, she was looking at him. That way. The one way that she knew he'd never be able to say no to. “That's fine.” He assured, wishing not for the first time that her power was more similar than his. All Edward wanted to do was to have fun hunting with his family as he had so many times before. It wasn't as if he was enjoying dragging Alice out to do this when she was neither up to it, or having any fun herself.
Before his thoughts could go any further, or before he could say anything else, Angel showed up in the clearing. He had hoped against hope that the youngest vampire would miss this outing, but his wishes were being ignored by whatever god there was as usual. A sneer ripped across his handsome features when she bounded up to the rest of them. Alice's glance left any possible words safely on his tongue, and he merely stared at the intruder.
“You're just in time.” Edward replied to his 'big' brother, grateful that the young man appeared when he did. “Alice is going to eat a light meal and then we're going to go home. Mother's going to be back soon.”
ooc: I don't really like it, but it's something so, sorry blah

Alice watched Edward sneer as she gently squeezed Jaspers arm pushing him lightly forward knowing he would help calm the situation. She took a small step back knowing that his attention was directed now at Angel. She hadnt really planned it in this way but it was exactly the distraction she needed, as all eyes turned to Angel and the fude that was about to kick off Alice made a split minute decission and quietly bolted hot on the trail of a young deer.
She loved her family more than anything, she felt bad for doing this especially to Edward and Jasper but she needed her own space, space where she could feel the emotions she wanted to feel and think what she wanted to think. The others were right to think of her as a time bomb, she was, everything was building up inside her and she just needed to get her mind off things.
She moved swiftly and gracefully through the trees, Alice wasnt as fast as Edward, but watching her run and hunt was something else all together. Each movement so smooth as if she were a Ballet dancer on the stage, she flipped twirled and bounded through the trees letting out a sigh into the wind. For a brief moment she felt free from all her troubles and worries, but she knew her being missing would not escape everyones attention for long.
She knew at least though she was far enough ahead from Edward that as he caught up with her she would have fed and would happily want to be on the way home. She had noticed the tension in the group around her and it worried her. Jaspers eyes were darker, she knew he hadnt fed right and Jasper when hungry was a liability, though he didnt like to admit it. He was a strong fighter, but that was the problem, he was raised as a killing machine and it made things difficult.
Alice had been preventing herself from thinking about anything lately, she was starting to become scared of her gift, her reasoning was if she didnt think about people so much she wouldnt see the visions and she wouldnt get so much of the pain... That was the theory anyway. A few had slipped by her though, but it was bareable at least.
As she saw her prey ahead of her she leaped quickly up into the trees then down from above snapping the deers neck on impact. Alice wasnt like Emmett, she didnt play with her food. She ran her slim fingers over the animals fur as she kneeled down and broke through its throat with her teeth and fed, the small animal was more than enough for her now and as she thought the rush of the hunt had calmed her slightly. She fed delicately and quickly, she didnt want to take her time today. She knew that by now Edward would be tracking her and she stood to wait after she had finished.

"Cool." Emmett said, throwing his large body onto the ground easily and sitting comfortably in the dirt. "I'm not hungry so I'm just going to hang out and be annoying company" He smiled wickedly and looked around the group. Angel stood off the to the side and he could only raise an eyebrow.
"So back at last Angel? I figured you'd be gone for longer, with the way you left us." He drawled out slowly, picking up rocks and throwing them in random directions. He watched Alice and just shook his head. She was always the weird one, but they all loved her, so did he, as a sister.
ooc//Ahh! it's so bad!

A wave of calm came over Edward as Jasper stepped forward, propelled by his mate. The glare that was aimed at Angel changed direction and headed toward the empath of the family. As hard as he tried to remain angry at the fact his emotions were being played with, Edward couldn't and the glare softened. His eyes still locked hard with those of his brother and Jasper simply shrugged, in a 'what else would you expect me to do' sort of way, a soft smile appearing as the corners of his lips turned upward.
The relaxed and unlabored response would usually irritate Edward, but at the time being all he could do was laugh, the worries that had been holding him down held at bay for the moment, giving him a heady sense of freedom and carefreeness. His vision went to Angel and he even offered her a smile. They had talked a bit since she had arrived, and although they were by no means near what anyone would call amicable, he didn't wish she didn't exist so much anymore.
Feeling absurdly playful, Edward dashed after one of the rocks Emmett tossed and was making to throw it back when the feeling of calm was shattered. All his stresses and worries were released as if a dam had broken, and their weight fell painfully back on his reality, almost making him physically ill. Jasper had taken off down the mountain, and for a moment Edward was unsure until one thought rang out from his brother's mind. ~Alice~. Looking around the group Edward noticed that she was indeed gone, and he wondered how long she had managed to disappear for. What a minx.
His agitation was ten fold after the bliss of being calm was gone, and he raced through the forest, soon passing Jasper and following Alice's scent. It didn't take him that long to find her, and he was sure the others weren't far behind. “What do you think you're doing?” He shouted, busting through the trees into the area in which she stood. A doe was dead and drained by her feet and she looked as thought she had fed. “What do you think not being along means? What if something had happened?” He was angry both at her and himself for letting her get out of his sight. He was angry with Jasper too, although Edward knew that the southerner was probably beating himself up enough as he ran to catch up.

Alice sighed as she saw Edward running to her and she cringed as he began shouting at her. She had expected as much from Edward, not that it meant she liked him shouting at her. Her face remained blank as she put up her mask again, hiding her emotions from Jasper was her main priority. She looked edward in the eye and replied in her thoughts **Eating, we can go home now.** She had needed the space and she sighed a little her posture sagging slightly, she walked past Edward and then broke out into a run heading back to the others.
As Alice jumped and sprinted something suddenly went very wrong. As she leaped into the air over a boulder her eyes dulled as she saw a figure approaching her in her mind, then suddenly her back arched and twisted as a searing pain shot through her body and head. Her shriek of pain echoed around the mountains as she fell hitting the ground hard as her body writhed in agony. Her eyes blank, stared into space, blind to the world the only thing she could see was the vision of her lying broken and dead in the woods as she had seen in Carlisles Office.
Her screaming continued as the pain remained, blood started trickling from her tear ducts down her cheek and this time from her nose and mouth too. Her body spasmed as wave upon wave of pain hit her. Her fingers grasped at the ground blindly, the vision wasnt fading, she couldnt get rid of it and she didnt know why.
Then suddenly the vision changed, the vision was so clear it was almost as if it was real. Alice saw herself standing there, a wicked smile on her face as her eyes, red not gold in colour looked down on a massacre at the school. Spanning out she saw her family as they looked at her sadly and turned away from her, walking away. She reached her hand out blindly as she saw Edward in her head, looking at her with disgust as he turned and left.
'Edward...' She pleaded to the thin air. Then she saw Jasper looking at her, his eyes angry and ashamed as he too turned away from her snarling. 'Jasper...' As the words left her lips she left searing pain in her stomach, she felt like she was being ripped in half, her body spasming as blood started pouring from her mouth onto the forest floor. As everything went dark her eyes focused and she saw a figure standing over her, she didnt know if it was Edward, or Jasper. She knew that Edward would have seen everything and she could only think one thing **Sorry** Her hand landed limp on the ground her eyes closing as she lay there face covered in blood, drained of any energy she seemed to have.

Jasper could emanate a wave of calm on everyone, but himself and the moment he noticed Alice was gone, panic inset in his mind and he had to fight himself to stop it being projected out. He had remained so calm up until now. The fact he wasn't eating was making him irritable and when he tried to run after Alice, only to be overtaken by Edward, he growled to himself. His skills may be matched to Edward's, but that boy still had the upper hand on him with his speed and, sometimes, it was the most annoying thing in the world, even after taking into account his ability to read his every thought.
As he caught up with Edward, he felt Alice and there was definitely something wrong. He glared at the other vampire, his jaw tightening as his darkened eyes looked for Alice. Panic was still set into his brain, despite his anger at Edward. There was something going on here and no one was telling him anything, even Alice was hiding something from him. He had spent the past few days really fighting the urge to lash out. He had spent most of that time with his hands balled up into fists, distracting his thoughts from Edward by any means possible. If they were going to hide from him, he'd hide from them.
He pushed passed Edward as his eyes finally focused on his little Alice. His expression pinched at the smell of the blood. He swallowed, moving to her side, trying not to take in the smell. "Alice..." he whispered, concern heavy in his voice. He knew that she was seeing something, but he couldn't tell what. He looked up at Edward, his dark eyes burning as he wondered what the hell could be going through Alice's head to make her like this. He hated being in the dark. Edward was in on everything and it wasn't fair.
